On the topic of POTP Grimlock, I know he's been up for preorder on most of the usual sites like bbts and amazon, but was he ever "in stock" and shipping at hasbrotoyshop?

Want. Now. (glares at bank statement with undisguised impatience)

More coherently - I actually don't have a problem with POTP Grimlock being bigger than the rest of the crew. T-Rex was, after all, a tyrant lizard, and I can headcanon Sludge into being ... I don't know, a different sauropod, or maybe representing an adolescent brontosaur.

    Or something. :p

All I really care about is that I'll be able to afford Dinobots that remind me of my youth, and that's good enough for me. :D

(Plus, Slash is actually a semi-original Legends figure design!  I approve ... now, let's see more diversity in later waves, instead of filler rereleases, hmm? o_O

A lot of people are getting early Target copies of the new wave figures just by asking for them to check the back as both TJomega and Peaugh also Baltmatrix have all gotten them

I'm pretty much with this. I'm hoping there'll be the OS KO's, and I'll pick up Sludge in that aspect, but the rest of them are fine as is.

his proportions doesnt look right, and hes missing that clear plastic on the chest! Volcanicus doesnt look very solid either. I know 3p companies will oversize them and i hope they improve them. Wont mind 3p chest upgrade either.

Yeah some stores have them in storage so its a case of asking and see of they do and if they can sell them to you.

No harm in asking if you don't see them on shelves.

It's looking less and less likely I'll have a POTP Grimlock in hand for Gregg Berger to sign next month on the 17th at a nearby convention. Amazon says it'll be released on the 15th, but even with one day shipping it's estimated to arrive on the 18th :(  Hopefully hts or one of the other online retailers can get him in stock sooner, unless I somehow get lucky and see Grimmy in stores - fat chance I know!

All the Dinobots have clear plastic with gold painted under it which emulates the how the G1 toys have clear plastic over gold.

FYI The reset is supposed to happen this week, so if you’re watching Brickseek the key is to see if it shows a number in stock. If it does then they should be on the shelf, if it doesn’t and just says ‘in stock’ they’re probably in the back. It looks like the big sale was supposed to clear out the glut of last winter’s product so they actually have room to put these out.

You’re not alone. I have no problem with G1-with-joints. I love it, especially for the Dinobots. I think these could have been done better had they not been compromised for a gimmick, but this is the style I want. I have no need of a Grimlock that doesn’t walk upright and drag his tail.

I prefer the 'runner' version of the T-Rex over the the more G1 faithful 'tail dragger' depiction.

Fortunately, judging from the pictures I've seen so far, it seems that POTP Grimlock can be posed as either version.

Looking forward to some reviews to confirm.

I haven't own the G1 toys of the Dinobots.
So I have no choice but to buy all of the Dinobots from this line.
Well I have Classics and FoC Grimlock but the whole team?

This is the only viable option for completist to get them all in retail.

Completely wrong. Sky Lynx fails by virture of not even being a real member of the Breastforce or even a proper representation of Liozak or Deathsarus.

Still does a better job of looking like Liokaiser as far as I'm concerned.

You do know what opinions are, right?
I think it works best. Until something I think works better comes, nothing will change that.
