Here is the God Ginrai upgrade kit for the POTP Optimus Prime. I took a lot of design elements from the ExGokin Ginrai figure that came out in 2014. I can't wait to get to painting this guy. It took about 4 months to get the design worked out and printed. I'm very pleased with the outcome.

Hello, the legs can't be worn with armor? I see in your photo that you removed them

Those are some very smooth surfaces. Are they straight off the printer, or are they vapor-smoothed...?

No, I did forget to mention that. With the legs on Orion Pax it shifts too much weight back and the figure will not be able to stand.

It is resin printed, Geeetech Alkaid using sunlu standard gray resin.

No, it does not transform. MKII will, but I do not plan on starting on that until next year.

Does the digital model come in multiple colors or is it one solid color because I think printing some parts in colored plastic would be better then painting them since it will not scratch up the paint

I'm not sure on this. I know the shins, knee pads, shoulders and a few more pieces are fairly mono chrome. I haven't had the chance to print in multiple colors at once and I have no experience setting that up. I would use colored resin to print with, Amazon sells several different dye kits just for 3d printing resin. Sorry I'm not quite sure on this one.

I'm going to get some paints this weekend and begin the work. I'm ready to see him completed. One of the FB members done a quick digibash on it. There's several differences I'll apply color wise, but i like it. 1000017950.jpg

Apologies for the likespam, thought I did so earlier but must've not processed properly. Either way, fascinating design and intriuging mold to use! Very unique!

I was thinking of a cover and not a whole new arm

I was considering just a cover, but a new arm that slides onto the mushroom peg just made more sense to me.

Are 3D printers that much better now? I'm surprised at the lack of rough textures.

It looks like a resin print

Those can be print in finer detail than regular extrusion prints
