    I've been having a look online and come across some potential sequel news. Take it with a huge pinch of salt as the news comes from we got this covered, but it looks like the next movie may be taking some beats from G1 and <spoiler>killing off Optimus Prime.</spoiler>

    Also, is this a credible source? We Got This Covered has made grandiose claims like this already. I don't think that it's trustworthy.

    Also, Hasbro knows that it is a truly stupid decision to kill off Prime after '86. He is the most marketable character in the franchise (besides maybe Bumblebee).

    A huge pinch of salt indeed. In addition, I can't see them killing off such a major character so soon into the rebooted universe. And as much as I'd love to see Galvatron in live action, his character requires buildup that I don't think can be done in a single film.
