If we didn't already hear hundreds of variations of similar bashing on the movie models, this might be funny. As it stands, this has been done to death for months, and it's just not funny anymore.

I'll have to be boring and join the majority (everybody actually) who've already posted here. This thread runs the risk of turning into an anti-movie magnet at the drop of a hat.

 

I don't see this as being 'anti-movie', I see this as being an obvious joke. Like it or not, there's a big difference between the two Megatrons and a 'plastic surgery' joke fits the bill. Gawd, some people here take some things way too seriously >.>

 

The clear implication (to me) is, once again, a reference to Movie MEGATRON being "ugly" and G1 MEGATRON being something to be aspired to (ie; "better"). Dressed up as a joke or not, hearing this once again is a little gauling when it is, after all, an opinion (which I don't happen to hold).

Trouble with this place is that ojecting to tedious, repetetive (and very old) criticism disguised as an (unfunny) joke garners all sorts of "you have no sense of humour or "lighten up" retorts. Quite the reverse is true: Say/do/write something funny and I'll laugh.

...I just think you're reading WAY too much into it. It's a simple, if overdrawn joke. There was no need to come in here and post that you were 'leaving' if you didn't like it, you could have just left the topic alone. I don't see any difference(other then the quality of work) between this joke and the Lil'formers joke of the same regard.

Seriously folks. I was just browsing through here, and reading everyone comments. If you don't like the joke, fine. I think it's kinda funny. It's a cute joke. Not everyones funny bones react to the same thing. If you don't like the joke, either come up with one of your own, or don't post. These are how fights start.

 

The Lilformers one isn't funny either.

 

You're right. Hilarious is a better word for it. LOL. Yea I know. I'm being a jerk. I just couldn't resist.  

 

The pic of movie Megs with a top hat and "jazz hands" got a chuckle out of me the other day.
