I think pretty much all the iconic characters have been covered at this point. Having read various threads on other sites, my pick would be Blackarachnia. Characters like Rattrap or BW Megatron were very important to the shows they were in, but don't have much (if any) impact beyond that. Blackarachnia pretty much set the template for female Transformes characters going forward, and most likely served as inspiration for both TFP Arcee and TFP Airachnid.

On a similar note, I think next year should see Bulkhead getting in, since he's become the new Autobot Tough Guy template.

    Sentinel Prime.

Three major versions of the character in the three major continuities in the last few years (Sentinel Zeta Prime).

    Minerva deserve more love peoples!

screw wheeljack and arcee, MINERVA AND SWINDLE FTW!

wheeljack is just like every other g1 autobot car, bland, and arcee, outside of transformers prime, is just the token girl.

Swindle and Minerva are the correct choice

And how may I ask is Wheeljack bland? Not only is he quite obviously the Autobot's resident inventor and mad scientist, he created the DINOBOTS - one of which is being inducted this year! He had one of the most recognizable faces and overall looks in the whole cartoon and onwards. I'm not counting Que here, though his head was also recognizable to say the least.

I'm seeing all this love for Swindle, yet he has less characterization, overall development and far less exposure to the general audience in recent times compared to Wheeljack! Yes he is in the comics (which I own, fun read) and he was in Animated but Wheeljack has been in the comics for G1 and Movie, Prime and though I may not like to admit it he was in Dark of the Moon.

Don't get me wrong, I love Swindle but to call Wheeljack bland is calling someone just as developed as Swindle and far more so than Minerva bland.

Minerva has more development and characterization then Wheeljack will ever have, and I say that being a major Wheeljack fan.

Only one character deserves to be in the hall of fame: Rodimus. He's too famous out of hate to be ignored. Besides, this is the hall of Fame, not the hall of love.

I don't get why people don't get that Galvatron went in w/ Megatron.

Yay! My top 2 appear to be in contention. ^_^

    :lol  :thumb

I'll do one. Hope you don't mind me using FP Munitioner...

Left the list up to help others.

It isn't every character w/ that name. It's every character under that archetype. W/ the exception of Optimus Primal, who existed along side Optimus Prime at one point, all the other Optimus' have held the same place in the story, had similar personalities & beliefs & usually had a similar backstory.

Beast Era aside (it's technically part of G1), all the other series are alternate universes, & the characters w/ the same name tend to represent the same Transformer.

There are a few different Scourges, as they all held different roles, personalities, & sometimes even factions.

RiD Scourge has absolutely nothing in common w/ G1 Scourge except for the name, & like Beast Era Primal & Megs, is considered, at least by the fandom, a completely seperate character.
