And since I couldn't think of anything creative to do to get out more Fortress Maximus nominations, I put together a list of the current nominees as of the time I started typing up the post, in Alphabetical order (in date of nomination order is also available, but does anyone really care?). Not included on the list are invalid nominations (Already in HoF, Character that caused Hasbro to specify no Z-listers, etc.). I also made a separate listing for characters that are likely invalid nominations for various reasons (along with the reason. Characters that were nominated as versions wholly distinct from their general incarnations are listed with the nominated incarnation in brackets after the name. I haven't gotten around to tallying current number of nominations for each character yet (Yes, I am wasting alot of time on this for no particular reason).

Alan - Z-Lister.
Botanica - TV appearances only.
Devcon - One TV appearance and a couple of comic appearances only.
Discharge - Z-Lister.
Ginrai - Human piloting a mecha, not a Transformer.
Impactor - Only appeared in comics to date.
Legion - Only appeared in Kiss-Play manga .
Minerva - As depicted in sig banners, a Human piloting a mecha, not a Transformer.
Nightbird - Just a robot, not a Transformer.
Signal Lancer - Only appeared in a few episodes of TF: Cybertron and only once with any prominence.
Scrounge - Only appeared in comics.
Tailspin - Z-Lister.
Transmutate - Technically not a Transformer, as BW Megatron points out in the character's only appearance.
Windbreaker - Z-Lister.

I would like to point out that by the end of Masterforce, Minerva is a full-fledged Transformer and appears as such in Victory.

Also where's Micromaster Tailspin on that list? He was nominated by Macross7 and deserves a shot. The only character on that list I would really qualify as "invalid" (as much as I don't think there should be any), is Shattered Glass Abominus, since he hasn't appeared in any Hasbro/Takara media (and would he be included in with normal Abominus?).

 

Let's be realistic here: Hasbro is not going to induce Minerva, Tailspin, or any other obscure character in the HoF. If we repeat last year's Erector debacle, they may remove the entire fan voting privilege (they said so last year).

There's a huge difference between making a dick joke and wanting to legitimately nominate an obscure character because of their contributions to the franchise.

But Decepticons:

Devastator, Unicron, Laserbeak, Sky-byte

Hence why Minerva is also on the main list.

Not quite sure how I missed that, but he'll be added to the second list. From what we've seen out of Hasbro, the only Micromaster that isn't a Z-List TF is Countdown.

As far as who is invalid and is not, really only Hasbro is the final arbiter on that. I just listed the characters that had a reason that they would likely be invalid. They can still be seen as nominated, unlike those who are definitely invalid.

SG Abominus is nominally a different character from Abonimus (truly walking the line). Since the person who nominated that character specified it as a different version, that's how I put it on the list. Someone else could nominate the standard Abominus, if they so desired.
