I have something really cool to share today. A couple of weeks ago I had the distinct pleasure to meet and speak with (for a long period of time) George Krstic. For those of you who don't know who George is, he is a professional TV writer and creator. His most recent work is that he wrote for many episodes of season 1 of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. I met George because of that fact. He was speaking at a SW club which I belong to (The Ohio Star Wars Collectors Club - OSWCC.com). <------shameless plug Anyway, what I really know George for and was geeking out to meet him about is that he is the co-creator of Megas XLR. I told George that I was a huge Megas fan and was really looking forward to meeting him. When I told him that, I could tell it really pleased him. He said that Megas fans are few and far between, and he's always glad to meet new ones. I told him that I tried to find something Megas related on eBay for him to sign, but Megas stuff is really pricey. He agreed and said it's kind of hard to find Megas stuff. He went on to tell me that he has to support the Megas fans. He then asked me to email him my mailing address, so he could send me something. I did, and I received this in the mail yesterday:

 

oh man that is so cool. megas was an awesome cartoon. i still have season 1 on tape.

That was an awesome story and thanks for sharing it. I was a bit bummed before reading that because I visited TJ Omegas youtube channel as I like to do most Sundays and was feeling bad for him at the end of his second con video.

Your story completely restored my faith in Fandom community and put a big smile on my face. That truly was a cool thing for George Krstic to do for a fan.

Happy to share it with everyone and glad you liked it. I forgot to mention that I asked George if Megas was based on Transformers. His response was something to the tune of "My god yes!" Lol! He is a huge TF fan.
