Cool Skeletor, would pick him up myself but I’ve already got a bunch of different versions of him.

Basically at the end of the Takara-Tony mainline Cyberverse figures now. Just one-step Hot Rod and Jazz left to arrive. Quick run-downs. All courtesy of Mercari, including one lot. Quick ‘n’ dirty shots just after unboxing and a round of transformations:
    IMG_1369.jpeg
Ultra Class Starscream: Definitely a letdown after Ultra Class Grimlock, which might be one of my favorite figures I own. This feels so unsubstantial in comparison. I think Grimlock is worth paying over MSRP for. Starscream feels underwhelming even under it. The gimmick is fun, but the figure barely transforms and poseability is basically G1. Feels very hollow and insubstantial compared to Grimlock too. Probably my least favorite non-one-stepper of the line. I’d hoped to enjoy it a bit more.

One-steps: SkyByte (received the other day) reigns supreme and is genuinely really fantastic, even beyond the category of one-step-changers. Prowl, also received separately, is probably the worst. Just a bit underwhelming. Bumblebee overcomes his usual “worst in his line/figure group” curse here to actually be the second best in the group—a truly clever, fun transformation mechanic. Optimus rounds out third, and the rest are all just fine at what they do.
    IMG_1370.jpeg
This thing is so huge. The pictures really don’t do it justice. It is stupidly large; not much smaller than the Armada Unicron mold. It’s nice to have the Ark, especially for photo gallery purposes, and the armor gimmick is one of my personal favorites, but some charm is lost at this size. I live in a multi-room Japanese apartment with my partner; I don’t know where I’m going to store this thing. I’d have loved this downsized a bit.

Anyway, the Takara-Tony sampling of Cyberverse is a gimmick-heavy affair with some really high highs and a few low lows. ROTB is a much more consistent kids’ line (no major misses imo), but these are still fun to have.

Ok so it has been a month or two since I had bought anything TF related until now. I knew the local toystore had SSGE Optimus (say they had three online at that store) and the last Strongarm for £10. I figure the Optimus's were either kept in the backroom or were placed high up on the shelf (toystore is similar to Toy R Us in terms of shelfing).
Bam, had a quick visit this morning and saw two Optimus on the clearance table for £10 each and Strongarm being reduce to £7! Needless to say that was one heck of a bargain! I even picked up the other Optimus for another member on here (posted my sighting at the UK sighting board and got a PM about the last one).

    SSGE Optimus
Man he is one CHUNKY boi and also my first SSGE too which I thought Cliffhanger was going to be my first!
Originally I thought I was going to hate him for being too bulky but havingm him in hand, he was worth it. He kinda felt more worth than being a voyager but not a leader class either when compared the sizes to my other two Optimus! Also wow, didn't knew the Matrix can be pop off. From the reviews and the still image, I thought it was molded on!
The only really issue I have with him is there nowhere to store the gun and the axe on him for robot mode since this was before Starscream (when they made the gun to have a handle to be held by hand). Also I notice tiny stress marks near the latch on the blue plastic like the legs/ car side and the feet/ roof part of the truck? Is this common with the other copies?
I am tempted to buy the DNA upgrade kid but it's quite costly? On the other hand, since I bought him for £10, it technically cost abit more than a voyager class altogether (TFSafari got it for £34). I could go for the cheaper alternative with Superman Studio handle converters for £7 as my main issue is the lack of handle (I can lived without the back cover for the truck mode, gap filler and better axe).

    Strongarm
I already got Elita-1 (too lazy to dig her out of storage) and she is slightly better than her.
My initital issues was the kibble made her too clucky as in they get in the way of arm rotation but I transformed her blindly as I know her transformation from Elita. Seeing the instruction, I forgot the rotate the car doors out. Doing that and realising the shoulders are on hinge meaning I can rotate the shoulder armour out abit does give more rooms to rotates her arms and thus better posing.
That being said, I still wished she either had her own mold or retool from the Skid mold as I think that mold suit her better in terms of proportation (had a better WIDE look). Also the Elita mold still suffer with the feets too!

Ok I know that is from Beastbox but which figure is it?

Finally after many years, picked up Cybertron Jetfire / Galaxy Force Dreadrock!

Also, just learned about a South Korean transforming toyline- Tobots by Young Toys, and picked up Bus King!

I don't think there is any other official transforming toy that turns into a bus, so I absolutely had to get it. :thumb

The build quality is superb, feels like a Unicron Trilogy era toy (if you drop the toy on ground, you worry your floor will get damaged and not the toy, lol :p ).

    Lime green bros!

Any of the other new releases can wait till next month, gotten plenty of new figures this month and once the other Transformers arrive I'll be more than happy to sit back and chill and wait a few weeks before getting more.

He at last went down in price. Well worth the wait. No qualms either outside of some loose ball-jointed legs, but I can pledge them up once I get back home.

Yesterday and Today's purchase. Was lucky enough to get Starscream given that he wasn't meant to come to Australian retails.
