I got my hands on Legacy Motormaster and Studio Series 86 Arcee, both of them are amazing in their own ways: Arcee is so vastly superior to the ER mold in every single way that its almost funny, and Motormaster has a lot of really awesome and clever engineering and Menasor is shaping up to look incredible once we have all of the Stunticons!

 

Cosmos acquired. I found an unattended box on a pallet. It had already been cut open, so I assumed Cosmos would be gone…but, nope, he was there. At $25 a pop, I left his wave mates, though.

Also…

“Priced like a Voyager” needs to be a collector’s garage band name. Or at least put on a shirt.

 

Picked up Legacy Cyclonus (also my first-ever Cyclonus). Absolutely blown away by this figure. Paint and finish is spectacular, and even the stickers felt really high quality. Honestly, he feels like better quality than some of my MP figs, and the costs like a fraction of what they did.

 

I really like MM but I feel like there were quite a few missed opportunities with him. His legs are entirely too thin in comparison with the boots. I think that they could have given him a proper codpiece , and while I'm grateful for a panel cover to hide each hand, I wish his hands were bigger

In some ways he seems smaller than Prime and Rodimus even though he's roughly the same height as them.

I do love the face sculpt and color and like how the cab becomes the feet, I just wish he was a little thicker.

Attack of the Recolors time again. Cosmos and Scourge went faster than I expected and I haven't seen anything of Override. Moving on, Here's Diaclone Burnout and G2 Road Rocket.

 

Got this guy in a lot from someone who apparently collected vintage toy guns for $62 all in. Not sure how well it comes across in the pictures, but I don’t think the guy ever took this out of gun mode. The scope is a 3D print I added. I believe this is a vintage G1 and not a reissue based on the copyright stamp.

I don't buy doubles, but getting the 2-pack for a few dollars less than the average price of a deluxe at Ross is a good deal. Getting Burnout was great too.

The stars aligned, and I got a non-bid option for TR Twin Twist. Granted, about $80 bucks in the end, but way better than what he usually goes for (now if only I can get that luck for Misfire...). I could've gone for the Wreck N' Rule release, but let's be honest...




...having both of them in the white & blue color scheme just looks too damn good. Honestly, just looking at the two figures, they don't look like retools of each other at first, but after handling, you start to see how the two are similar. Props to HasTak for making a drill tank out of a jet and having it still turn out great.

By the way, TR Topspin isn't a recent acquisition, he's been in my collection for a bit over a year now. I just had to display him with Twin Twist because... I mean, displaying one of the Jumpstarters without the other is heresy.

 

Now give us that wreckers shot!

 

Don't have all the Wrecker figures, but I can probably get Impactor (retail), Springer (retail), Ultra Magnus (Kingdom), Inferno, Kup (non-Buzzworthy), Bulkhead (retail), Breacher, Perceptor, Counterpunch, Bluestreak, Arcee, Stakeout, Alpha Bravo, and Offroad (going by TFWiki) to put with him if I ever do get the chance. I don't have all the Wreckers, mind (example: never got Roadbuster, and T30 Whirl is missing an accessory), but would all those be enough?

 

Granted, I’ve got all those but to me all you need for wreckers if impactor, whirl, roadbuster, topspin and twintwist. Plus rack n ruin if you are ok with the cyberverse toy of him. But I do hope we get a legacy version of him

 

Ah, I’m not a Cyberverse collector, so I skipped out on him.

 

I don’t collect them either. But I cracked when I saw him at ross

 

Not quite a purchase but won a vintage Korean kickback in a raffle.
