I've heard stories of pre-orders getting canceled and such. I've pre-ordered a few times over the past few years, and haven't had an issue. But, for in stock items I've never had any issue. I've ordered in stock toys and movies and they've always come though. Honestly, though, I only pre-order stuff with DeepDiscount that if it gets canceled I won't care all that much. If it's a must have item for me, I tend to pre-order elsewhere.

Haul from Saturday. Got the Creatures Collide guys at retail, and Galvatron through Amazon once I found out they were shipping him already.




To get my thoughts quickly on the Creatures Collide folks:

• Goldbug wears the mold really well and looks amazing, that headsculpt's probably the best of the 3 current versions. Does peg a little tight in vehicle mode, but so did Bumblebee so...
• Ransack's pretty much just Kickback with a new head and different antennae to adjust. Kickback's a simple figure, but he's good, and so is Ransack by extension.
• Skywasp rocks the colors nicely, wish he had a bit more to help him pop though.
• Toy Scorps is my least favorite, but the color scheme does set him apart nicely. Transformation back to robot mode was annoying because the chest wouldn't close up for a while.

Galvatron keeps up the trend of Studio Series Voyagers being amazing. Nice silver deco, and a way more involved transformation than the 2014 Voyager that helps him clean up really nicely (aside from the truck's hitch in vehicle mode.) Again, wish he could have been Leader so he could've fixed some of the flaws (and give him a bit more like the Seed), but as a whole, I feel he's leaps and bounds better than the 2014 Voyager. Comparing the two side by side, you can tell that while he's been downsized, the extra budget's definitely been given to the engineering.
