It takes time.
With the Thrilling 30 Springer out of the box, I thought I'd pose him with some of my other collection, showing the size difference between the lines. Springer usually isn't this much of a brute, canonically, compared to, say, Prime. But it works. As I say, it's a curated collection deliberately supposed to be a mash-up of styles, giving something kind of different. I don't collect Masterpiece because, well, I am just not going to spend that much money on one thing. And, frankly, I don't prefer collecting things that large. And I remember the cartoon, but it's not at all my favorite aesthetic.
First you can see the Studio Series, RED Arcee (who is actually Blue, of course), and Generations Springer. Then I added Siege, a third-party figure in Core(?) Roadbuster. Then I also switched the Prime for the Striker Manus knockoff version. Which is too bad, because I happen to think the texture and outline of the SS-38 Prime is actually really good. Especially in person.
Because I like to make it difficult, I also am collecting TVC StarWars, while everyone else is moving to the doll-size ones. And Domo is there. Because it's Domo!
I'm also testing out my camera, my exposure skills. My ability to mess with Pixemator and GIMP as well.
That seems to be DX9 gewalt. A 3P blitzwing.
For a few seconds, I thought that Perceptor had a giant wheel sticking out of his back and thought that some third party company had made a Perceptor that turned into a bike. Now I’m a bit disappointed.
The same could be said for Beast Machines Obsidian, who’s a bright shade of green.

After months of fighting it I finally broke and bought ER Screamer. MP-52 envy got the best of me and he's the next best thing at a reasonable price. That toon look and shiny red paint is pretty damn fantastic. I think Siege Screamer still has more character tho. If ER just had wrist rotation he'd have Siege beat.
I'm not a Starscream fan but think the ER version is really nice. The transformation is clever enough, the proportions are good, and the detailing is nice without being as greeble-ridden as Siege. I needed the head for a custom so I bought one used, but I might return it to the figure. I'm tempted to buy the TC/SW combo, as Thundercracker is my favorite Seeker. I've only picked up a few select TWC bots because the characters mean something to me, and I don't really collect CHUG, but I think this is a good Seeker mold.
LoL no. That's just the custom shield I made for my Power of the Primes Wreck-Gar. He looked so incomplete without his shield!
latest order from gamestop.
and funko pop! grimlock..
2 outta 6. These little guys are hard to find on the secondary market.
I wonder if it’s because they’re so small.
After about 14 years, Ruination awakens again in my collection.
I got a nice lil lot, but the real gem was this $3 clear Rung.I love him!
A cold and rational ornament (will be more relevant in 5 months or so obviously.)
Sigh. I know the ER Mirage seems to split people. But I do like the Earthened up version better. But I guess you need to get the bird guy with him. I think my Siege looks well enough for something displayed in robot mode.
I'm not really familiar with Beast Wars. So every time I see that bird guy, I hear this voice.
Finally was able to grab myself an Wheeljack out of a great 50% off deal!
I picked up Kingdom Red Alert this weekend, and the other two boxes came in the mail today. The closed shipper box is the WFC Grimlock / Mirage 2-pack.
Not pictured but I also got Unique Toys Galvatron and he’s a beast
Recently got a Kingdom Wingfinger from Amazon, love this guy despite his Missasembled legs.
CMDStore for the win today!
Yeah, this oughta hold me for a bit.
