POL delivered from BBTS
My last huge POL arrived. The next ones will be quite a bit smaller as I refocus on vintage G1 and Masterpiece.
Also grabbed Hallmark Shockwave!
Ordered Wingfinger, found a generations Kup that's going to replace my Titans return one (As Kup shouldn't be a headmaster and I dont like Studio Series Kup) and had to get a replacement Mindwipe cause I lost the head to a cat TT, (*Grumbles because buying the figure was cheaper than buying the individual head)
Still a great figure with a clever transformation.
It’s been a minute since I’ve posted some robits. Time for some catch up time!
2007 Movie Wreckage - Awesome arctic camouflage vehicle mode that feels mildly G.I. Joe-esque. Transformation is a blast and I was amazed at its beautiful simplicity. Robot mode looks great and has nearly modern articulation, though my one and only complaint is that his chin is constantly buried in his chest.
2007 Movie Bonecrusher - despite missing his defining fork weapon feature, he’s a pretty fun bot to mess with. Transformation is mostly fluid and the way the arms unfold is magical.
Kingdom Blackarachnia - a very dainty and light figure, but I feel like she will survive proper handling. She looks great and poses nicely, and while transformation is still a little scary, it’s clever. A great addition to my Beast Wars shelf, so it’ll look a little less bare while I wait for my Megatron of choice to come out.
Kingdom Core Prime - A fun little pocket dude. That’s about it for him, honestly. He’s good.
But the best thing I picked up these past few weeks is so exquisite, he demands his own picture.
Reveal the Shield Special Ops Jazz! He’s quite dashing in real life. He’s handsome, and dynamic, and fun. The build quality is great. He’s got nearly all the modern articulation points, and he fakes the missing element (ankle tilts) in a convincing way. Transformation is clever and I was left with my mouth gaping open when I figured out the chest. So simple, yet genius! Plus, he has two automorphs, and I love those. The ball-jointed hands help him so much and pose very naturally. The head has a load of range, better than most of my WFC trilogy cars. The flip out speakers are so unnecessary and fun, and I love how they look in both modes. I’m just so pleased by this figure, because he’s a good toy and I can enjoy playing with him.
First Botcon figure:
A small recent haul. I just got the Starscream and Inferno today. So all in all, I was able to get a few things lately!
Found a Unicron for my son since we can’t play with our Haslab one right now.
My housecat keeps bringing home gifts.
Wife said target was dry... them came home with these... score!!!
Awwwwww that little gnaw looks so cute.
Picked up NightBird and Hotshot at a local toyshop. Supporting the local businesses.
