Some more target stuff
And a big thanks to @AutobotAvalanche for wingspan.
Haha, thanks. That's actually a very nice looking figure. I especially like the faux patina. I suppose I hadn't paid much attention to the movie-series figures because... well, Bayverse, but that Optimus Prime is a great example of how real-world elements can be integrated with a Diaclone toy design, and legitimately work. That's a convincing G1-esque Autobot that doesn't look like a horror show blender accident.
I wonder if the articulation is good? All photos I've seen are in a fairly unchallenging pose.
Regardless, thanks for the tip!
and that guy in the background
Found SS-71 Dino while out of town.
Got the first of 2 pre-orders from Kapow toys
Now waiting for my Studio Series 86 pre-order. Hope they have everything in Stock soon.
BTW. No customs fee involved, hope the big next package also comes without fee, could become expensive
Big thanks to @Nemesis Baser for giving me a heads up that this guy was available on amazon mexico for retail otherwise i wouldve just missed out on him
Nice! Happy to see you finally have one
The completionist inside me was crying out today.
Huffer in action!!
$66 (That includes shipping) might have been too much for a loose, pre-owned T30 Rhinox that's missing one of his guns...But it's also not over $100 that it's going for new in box.
A wild Abominus appears!
Certainly a looker. The post '86 movie Decepticons had some gorgeous colours and they come together beautifully on Abominus.
However, despite the new hands and feet offering better options for posing, articulation remains hampered. Whether it's the wide A stance he has when utilising the outward hip movement, the lack of ball jointed combiner head or waist swivel, dynamic posing suffers. This was always a negative with the Combiner Wars gestalts, however it still sucks when revisting one.
The thigh swivels are also loose vs his weight and he has a tendency to lean forward. A shame as you get ankle pivot and forward and back movement on the feet so technically the articulation you want in the legs is there.
And we have this too..
...not good. He's still able to hold a pose with it (none of my articulation issues stem from this) as despite the break it acts as a strong friction joint now. But I doubt that's gonna have any longevity to it and I'm obviously seeking an exchange.
All of this sounds resoundingly negative, but I'm digging him massively on looks alone. Hun-Gurrr is a wicked figure. And the individual limbs are charming, gormless mooks. Except Cutthroat. Fuck Cutthroat.
Amazon delivery...after they lost my first Hubcap...
These two arrived today
Pre order this guy last year and he came around Christmas and has been at my parents house so I wasn't tempted to open him early for my birthday this month.
Behold the Autobots last defense...Omega Supreme!!
Netflix Cheetor and Deep Cover. Love them both! The paint on Deep Cover is fantastic, and Cheetor's a good mold, glad I picked it up.
I'm also glad to be done hunting this line at walmart.
I went a little nuts. And the lighting in my dining room sucks.
Picture mostly doesn't show the damage to Ray and Winston due to being shipped in envelopes...
