Does the bfg integrate into the alt mode? Always thought this figure looked great, but never pulled the trigger on one. New faces...what a waste.

Ha! No, I usually reserve my snarky sarcasm for the unpopular threads. I like to keep it positive with regards to recent purchases and favorites of the day.

In all seriousness, this looks like a gorgeous figure. It reminds me of Optus Pexus in robot mode (which I like) but I’m not into his Cybertronian alt mode— just not my thing. I was thinking this might be a good option for me, but I really enjoy messing around with transformations.

Forgive my ignorance, but I'm unfamiliar with this figure. Is this a 3P of Doubledealer from Earthrise? The colors look similar but not quite the same as those of that character. Regardless, this thing looks awesome!

Pledge Future Floor Polish. Put some on his shoulder joints and work them around to spread it out. I'd also highly recommend putting clear coat or varnish on the metal fronts of his thighs as the hip skirts above scratch the finish on them quite badly.

Ah.... gotcha. A Masterforce character. The Japanese-only appearances (and the fact that I haven't yet encountered him in my slooooow reading of IDW) explains why I didn't recognize him. The "Double Evil" name threw me off!

    (And wow... he's pricey!)

He's the main villain in Last Stand Of The Wreckers and turns up in More Than Meets The Eye too, but his look in that is the basis for MMC's Carnifex. This is more a chunky take on his G1 look. Yeah, all of those big-ass Fanshobby lads are expensive but I was lucky enough to get him second-hand for a bargain price. I highly recommend him, though. He's massive in all of his modes and worth every penny.

Picked up another Unicron, he arrived in the mail yesterday. He is perfectly mint, tight joints and even has his chest missile. For the asking price I couldn't pass him up.

Awesome deal. I would totally jump on that myself, but I've spent too much this month already. Got to keep my budget in check. So much cool stuff, but I can't buy everything.

Had a bit of time this morning to swoop through and grab this guy. Grabbed another for another local collector at different WM down the road. I know I’ll like him but I hope that’s it for Tetrajets. 1D65CD56-9AA7-4858-97AD-D3772D393AFB.jpeg

Haven't seen that guy in the wild yet.

Current plan is to make him Wheezing Arrow. Unsure on the Battlemasters as of yet.

I may have indulged in some irresponsible spending on eBay last week.

Haha, thanks. That's actually a very nice looking figure. I especially like the faux patina. I suppose I hadn't paid much attention to the movie-series figures because... well, Bayverse, but that Optimus Prime is a great example of how real-world elements can be integrated with a Diaclone toy design, and legitimately work. That's a convincing G1-esque Autobot that doesn't look like a horror show blender accident.

I wonder if the articulation is good? All photos I've seen are in a fairly unchallenging pose.

    Regardless, thanks for the tip!
