Got in the blister mini figs, and wanted to share the size difference to the blindbag (not so blindbag?) versions... I was surprised they were not the same size, yet the same molds!

Thanks to @barry, @Scarlet knight, & @Subdurmal for recommending this figure. Should I get more and if so, which ones?

 

Depends on what you want. I think Chromedome’s the most well rounded of Wave 1, as I’m not a big fan of Brainstorm’s new head, and Mindwipe has some questionable wing quality that we don’t know if it’s been fixed. Wave 2, I haven’t heard much about Highbrow, but Weirdwolf seems (keyword- seems) fixed, and Skullcruncher doesn’t have the loose leg issue from the TR release. Ultimately, up to you.

 

Chromedome. The TR one is too IDW-ish after seeing reviews for the retro one. Retro one hits the spot for me and fits in with the main TR Autobots. My TR one just hangs out with TR Rewind on a separate shelf now.

I don’t have TR Mindwipe, but have the LG Takara one, and the retro one looks very similar to the LG one. I like the darker colors, so I would recommend Mindwipe but that’s just a personal preference and I like the character.

Retro Weirdwolf looks nicer than the TR one as well, but I’m okay with the TR one, and you probably won’t go wrong with Brainstorm, but I have too many figures already utilizing that mold, lol.

So My birthday is coming up and my brother dropped off my birthday gift. so I got this big package only expecting 2 figures. To my Surprise I get :
Energon Quickstrike (who will be repurposed as Over-Run)
Beastmachines Mirage.
Beastmachines Battle Unicorn.
G1 Thrust (Not complete).
G1 Landfill (missing Targetmasters).
Jet pod of the Thunder Arrow with Skystalker.

I have the best brother, who I do not deserve.

 

Just ordered me a Micromaster Cassette 4 pack with Knok, Skar, Rumble (or Frenzy) and Wingthing. My first generations selects figure!

 

Ebay - type in "transformers mini figure" in the search and a bunch will come up - the seller I purchased from was in my same state, Cali.

 

The mighty Netflix Megatron and his Seeker team arrived today, filling out my Decepticon ranks and providing them with a proper leader.


Netflix Megatron is one of the best Megatron figures I’ve owned, hands-down! I got him used without the extra guys because I didn’t care much for them. I also took a panel lining marker and colored in his eyebrows, and it makes the figure look so much better. I also added the G1 esque gun barrel from Soundwave to his back.

Starscream, Skywarp, and Thundercracker also arrived, all loose from separate sellers. I couldn’t ever find Starscream and there’s not a Target close to where I live, so I had to settle for an... acceptable price for these guys. The transformation is a bit scary for the chest, and the pegs that hold the legs together are scary tight, but they look great! Now someone needs to 3D print some extra expressions/heads for them so I can swap expressions around!

Now I need some Refraktors, Frenzy, and Rumble, Shockwave and maybe a few other ‘cons and the team is complete!

Got SS86 Grimlock Friday, did'nt have time till' today to check him out, and WOW. Can't wait for Kingdom Ultra Magnus to arrive and I'll have a decent start on an 86' display.
