The thing is, I'm not from US, and I didn't get the figure directly from Hasbro.
I got it online from a local reseller. The item was fully sealed. I first contacted the reseller and he asked his supplier about a replacement, which got declined, stating that the item was sealed so they can't be held responsible.
I then took the issue to the Hasbro Malaysia but they basically just say: can't help, go to your seller.
Ultimately the reseller felt bad and gave me a partial refund.
I have written to Hasbro NA and hope get some good news soon.
From where I stand, the issue originated from the factory and Hasbro should be responsible no matter how I got the figure, as long as it is authentic and I got it new and legally.
If Hasbro is denying me support on this, then I will be worried when they fully implement the environmental friendly opaque brown box.
Anyway, because this is not a thread for discussion, so this will be my only reply.

My BPF UMagnus just arrived today, can't wait to open him up once I got some free time over the weekend. The box does feel heavy for BPF UM...I guess the diecast metal and other improvements contributed the weight.

So, on my way home from work, I figured I'd stop at Walmart and pick up Super Mario 3D All-Stars. Got there, and they were ALREADY sold out.

I figured "oooh, I better get this TODAY or I probably won't find one". Went immediately to a nearby Target, and figured "eh, might as well check out the Transformers while I'm at it".

Walked out with their last SS Leadfoot, and one of the last copies of Super Mario 3D All-Stars they had. Lucky me.

Leadfoot's kinda nice. Not perfect, but certainly a MASSIVE step up from the disappointing Roadbuster. At the very least, I appreciate that he's unique. Here's hoping Topspin holds up as well.

Some more stuff from the last few weeks.

 

I'm envious of the Optimus. It's the one Go-Bot I'm missing and whenever I see it elsewhere it's either way too overpriced for my liking, or a low bid listing that I always forget to bid on.

I pre-ordered that game. I wasn't taking any chances lol. Great collection of masterpieces from eras gone by.

 

The lot price alone was worth it just for the Optimus. They are all open and on display now!

 

This rather fun figure arrived this morning. Monday should yield a second one along with Arcee.

This was one of the very few times where I've actually considered pre-ordering a game, simply because I knew how sought-after it would be. But I knew that, worst case scenario, I could just get it digitally.

But I freaking hate the pre-order culture in gaming. It's extremely consumer-unfriendly, especially considering how easily most new games can be gotten nowadays. There's basically no point in pre-ordering ANY game nowadays, but they're going to throw bonuses at certain retails to try and MAKE you want to preorder from certain places.

Jokes on them, though. The guy at Target who sold me the game just GAVE me the sheet of magnets that were the 3D All-Stars preorder bonus when I bought the game there.

Studio Series Roadbuster

 

Another random haul.

 

Target's Studio Series Leadfoot arrived today...now I just have to remember where I stored my old Roadbuster and Topspin...assuming I didn't get rid of them at some point.

(Although given how many items we've been having delivered from Target, they probably should have just given him to us for free.)
