I just recently found a booth in a local flea market selling transformers. I picked up universe 2.0 onslaught, universe dropshot, cybertron downshift, and rotf breakaway.

I might go back for more later. My question is which of these would you guys recommend? 2007 grindcore, 2008 Allstars power crankcase, and Rotf deluxe ravage are the ones I have my eye on. I'm leaning towards grindcore mainly due to the alt mode but I don't have experience with any of these molds. Any input is greatly appreciated

IMHO, ravage sucks... allspark crankcase is not a movieverse mold (cybertron red alert mold)... but then neither is grindcore (cybertron landmine mold).

If you're going movieverse, ravage is still accurate.

The other 2 are really up to you - do prefer a police dodge magnum, or a frontloader construction vehicle?

Ordered Tentakil from Transfan2’s shop earlier today. Only one figure to go and I’ll have a complete Generation Select Piranacon!!! They have 4 of the 6 in stock I believe, though FYI they are at a higher price than retail.

    My first triple buy.

I was gonna put this off until later but TFSource had a sale so I figured, why not? Plus I don't see this getting a + or 2.0 and even if it did, not anytime soon.

Depends on which retail you're referring to. Pulse had the only 'domestic' style pricing for Seacons, which was still a lot higher than normal Deluxe and Voyager class figures.

    Pulse: Deluxe $35, Voyager $60
Asian market: Deluxe $50, Voyager $80

Of course, if various stores ever got limited restocks, then the prices were jacked up higher. I've seen some Seacon Deluxes go for $80-100 now.

I mean I was always very partial to “Decepticon Seafloor Mad Devil” myself.

Ah didn’t think of that. I’m referring to comparison of the Pulse prices then. The gouging is ridiculous on eBay. But Transfans’s prices I feel (IMO) are justifiable.
