Picked up Studio Series Shockwave this morning. He looks pretty badass in robot mode!

Which is good, because his tank mode... Well... Kind of reminds me of the TFP version...

Earthrise Starscream from Pulse


At first I was perfectly content with the Siege Seekers and would only mess with this mold when they got to the other Seekers but boy am I glad to have picked this up. I still love the Siege Seekers and will happily keep them displayed as I'm a huge Seeker fan (& I'd prefer the Rainmakers have Tetrajet modes due to the cartoon) but this is the Starscream for my collection. I can't wait for the upcoming Thundercracker & Skywarp two pack, I hope they eventually use this mold either in Earthrise, Generations Selects, or the third part of the trilogy as the Coneheads, Nacelle, Hotlink, Bitstream, & Sunstorm. If we also get an Action Master Thundercracker & G2 Starscream, Ramjet, Blackout, & Sandstorm to boot I'd be over the moon.

They super nice! Don't hesitate to pick these guys up, they are crazy gorgeous in hand! I probably should've picked up Decepticon Mirage also, but I didn't want to get too greedy, these were the two I really wanted.

Bought this rather Imo rad G1 Soundwave T-shirt. Cheap and noice. For less than 10 bucks its a steal.

 

And now to give every collector here an aneurysm by freeing Divebomb Buzzsaw from his plastic prison.

Now I can figure what you're thinking: "Leopold, what about combiner wars buzzsaw, he was okay" "you got the GDO laserbeak last week, why didn't you just get rotf sunspot?" "That's not Buzzsaw, weirdo"

Answers below the cut:

point 1 - the tablet gimmick holds back all of soundwave's amazing friends across the prime wars line, imo. The tape gimmick itself holds back them all entirely, also imo.
Point 2 has to do with my reasoning on character replacement - the ROTF skystalker mold was used for Laserbeak representation, but not Buzzsaw, whereas the Energon Divebomb mold was used for both bird bots at botcon (that set is prohibitively expensive, btw)
So to point 3 - while not Buzzsaw in name, this is certainly able to be Buzzsaw with a stretch of my crazy reasoning.

I'm putting together a team of soundwave and his amazing friends that are all around Deluxe size. Certainly a strange goal, but one I've been interested in nonetheless. All I need now are Universe Ratbat (the Cybertron Sideways repaint/tool what came packed with that Springer/Evac) and the Overkill they made out of Universe Grimlock, and I'll be 99% complete on updates for seasons 1 - 3 of the original G1 series save for slugfest. Justice for slugfest.

 

Fresh from my trip to Target. Spinister may be one of my favorite bots from WFC Trilogy so far. I just did'nt realise how cool this guy is until I got him in hand.
