I might be broke after this quarantine, but to hell with it I'm happy.
Me too, went on a mail order buying binge other day lol!
Thanks. But I have to be honest by saying that does not phase me. After experiencing nearly every means of collecting not seeing the contents is the most sane option for me. Plus there are enough loose collectors, articles, and reviews to quench any curiosity I might have. So unless I somehow become rich this is the only option I have if I want to meet my goals.
Thanks. And it will just be these three if I decide not to go with any other series, brands, etc. Which I hope is not the case since I am hoping my next order is worthy of being submitted, and FANS HOBBY are doing 3P Headmaster Juniors. Plus I have to agree. Which is why seeing other AFA collections is my favorite way to waste time.
Man... You're killing me, Smalls!
So I read here on the forums about some that drama reagarding stock shortages that happened with Megalopolis last (?) holiday season. That being said, would you say you would recomend them? They have something I want but I wanted a solid recomendation first.
I think I over did my first trip to Walmart in a month.
Just received Harambe and Simba from the delivery man
So far I haven’t had any issues with them. I’ve ordered from them 4 times so far (4th and largest order to date placed last night). They ship priority mail so it doesn’t take too long to get your stuff and everything is packed really well in foam packing peanuts. They got a pretty good sale going on right now, so yeah I’d recommend them if you can find a good deal right now.
It's been a busy week with SOC, Metal Build, Bots & More!
Very nice. I see you got the full set of X Transbots for Menasor. Look forward to some photos once you have the pieces combined. Been mulling over whether to go XTrans or Dx9. Digging the XTrans set more.
score! not finding jeep BB at first, I figured it was gonna be a while. had to exchange an item from yesterday, but at a different location. ended up finding him. wave completed!
Just got my most anticipated figure from the Netflix line. Score!
This arrived yesterday.
The backstory is that I had decided to buy a different item from Mandarake. Which was bought by somebody else while I was away from my computer! So instead of being disappointed I ended up seeing what else they had. This popped up at one point and was listed a "store front" item. So I inspected the photo, sent a request, and the rest is history. And after I received it the first thing I did was open the box and carefully inspect this "damaged" product. No, seriously. You will never see them say that a mint product in their listings these days. And yet, my careful inspection of this product had me find nothing worth mentioning here. So any damage was blocked out by said portions of the bubble wrap. It was pretty much that minty fresh. So much that I said "Screw it!" and prep it up so AFA could grade it.
As for the item, it is a model kit. These are ones you would find in a Japanese supermarket next to small random toys meant for kids. And in this case it is a giftset version of their two 2010 releases. With the other two kits being Victory Saber and Big Powered. Which do not interest me since my focus does not include anything from 1989 and 1990. Plus I'll find out if I chose the right tier. And will cap this off by saying that I hate filling out their order forms.
One down, three currently to go!
Mail and supply run haul today.
Really diggin’ these Minicons that arrived today. Gonna try to get more. Had a doctor’s appointment on the other side of town. Went to a Kroger I don’t usually go to, found Studio Series Ratchet. Not too shabby.
Studio Series 57 (offroad bumblebee) & 59 (jet shatter)
Don't know why Seawing came today and Nautilator is coming tomorrow, but (shrug)
Anyway, this is handily my favorite Seacon so far. I liked Snaptrap and Skalor, but they were gorgeous pink messes. Mildly frustrating to transform but without being complex or interesting or even new. Just retools with enough extra stuff stuck on to get in the way.
Seawing is the opposite. Familiar, he's still a retool, but elegant and clever. Excellent stuff. Outstanding headsculpt, too.
Love this Prime. Even better then siege version.
KFC Ditka. Really happy with the look of this guy, and he's got a nice heft to him, but I'm glad I'll never be transforming him again.
Did you happen to find Whirl somewhere other than Meier?
We don’t have Meier stores here, I found him at Walmart.
Which is a yes I suppose.
