Oh man, I'm about to open him, and I'm excited. Not only that, but I also preordered Red Alert. I'm definitely going to be part of the Iron Factory following.

I finally found Blackwing (Darkwing). I passed on him (and Dreadwind) the first time I saw him because I was hoping for a Takara release of Hydra and Buster. But since it seems that isn't going to happen, I was glad to see Darkwing again. Now I just need to get around to picking up Dreadwind. Good thing there are about 5,000 of him in my area.

I keep telling myself I don't need Optimal Optimus. But I bet I crack and buy him the second I see him.

Yeah, it's why I bought a second pair of BW and DW to customize into Buster and Hydra.

At first I wasn't planning on buying Optimal Optimus, but then my original broke so I had to fill the void. POTP OpOp is a really good toy, but it works so much better if you detach Optimus Primal from his back.

We wouldn't have done it if there was a proper official Legends Warpath with a tank turret chest right (and the old small legends Warpath won't do anymore). And with Siege, it seems that there won't be Legends minibots for at least a year.

Nowadays, I just turn to 3rd parties to fill the gaps in my official figures. Despite their flaws, official figures are generally more durable and offer more value in the long run.

Just opened him, so I haven't Transformered him yet. Out of the package, the joints are tight. One thing I noticed is that his left shoulder doesn't really tab in. Poseability is insane considering how small he is.

Picked up Cyberverse Shockwave because I love a new SW, despite the slightly shit alt-mode. Then managed to snag the remaining Terrorcons.:rock  [IMG]The Monster Mash. by DesertDog76, on Flickr [IMG]Cyberverse Shockwave by DesertDog76, on Flickr
Life's too short to waste much time worrying about things that don't really matter in the big picture. The world won't stop because 3P figures are sold. Don't squander perfectly good guilt on silly toys.;)

P.S. Iron Factory figures hugely addictive. I can't wait for my Burning Slug, he'll be arriving with Cygnus at least, hopefully Steel Lucifer and Shrike's Feather as well.

Had the same misgivings about 3rd party, but Masterpiece Grimlock was such a disappointment I had to correct it. Now I'm waiting eagerly for Mega-Dragon to show up, since my T2 Megatron suffered Death by Dog a few years ago.

I hadn't noticed 'til after already ordering Prime Wars deluxe Repugnus, that after seeing this pic,

that the standalone titanmaster version (to me) makes for a much better looking head. So I went ahead and promptly ordered it from Amazon just now. Now I regret skipping it when I saw it Toys R' Us.

Well now at least deluxe Repugnus will have a little bug buddy.
