Definitely go for Galvatron. I really like the Hasbro one, and I've seen the Takara one. That paint job is glorious.

 

I had it on preorder for months, along with the Rusty Optimus Prime, but TFSource never got Galvatron in, and I was facing hard financial trouble so I had to cancel my preorders. Probably gonna skip the Rusty Optimus and just get Galvatron and the Autobots United and live with the glorious G1-styled Optimus in that set.

Used some of my Christmas money to order Generations Jetfire, Windblade, and Nightbeat from Amazon - all for less than regular retail price.

I also picked up one-step AOE Megatron this afternoon. It's pathetic how little this guy actually transforms but it's an otherwise solid figure and looks pretty nice in both modes. And I can't resist any ROTF Megatron toy, so...  

 

Just ordered MP Soundblaster off Amazon. He'll be my first Masterpiece figure, I'm super excited.

G1 reissue Red Alert

More than six years after I snagged the Hasbro Commemorative version of Red Alert amidst a slew of reissue purchases as I re-entered collecting, only for that Red to have its arm break on me upon transforming it for the first time...I finally replace it. I know this was the slightly more expensive route, but out of irrational superstition I was hesitant to go pick up another HC reissue and this Takara reissue I snagged for a decent price compared to what they usually go for on eBay (approximately what I'd pay for on Mandarake, even after shipping) so I'm good.

 

LOL, I know right?! If you had in in your 'Warehouse' stash, and did not cancel of remove your orders than HLJ will just bill you automatically. Chances are my MP UM will sit there till I pay for shipping, and after 60 days, shipping too gets charged without your consent.  

 

Hahaha you won't be disappointed, specially if you like the black paints.

I recomend you any of the datsun molds, Smomescreen, Streak or Prowl to go next if you like the line. They are still available at some retailers and their are a great mold.

Should o say welcome to the dark side?  

 

I went ahead and bit the bullet and got the Takara MP Sunstorm from BBTS... Not a character that I'm in love with but being in MTMTE for a split second makes him an official character for me and so I had to...I just wish he wasn't so expensive...oh well...that's what collecting is all about...

Edit: I will say that I'm excited to increase my decepticon ranks with him and to add some more color to my collection, both are big pluses!

 

Mp-22 Ultra Magnus

 

Christmas Gift from my 8yr old son he found Christmas eve when he was returning a Rattrap he originally got me because he did not know I had it already. He seen her and told my wife Daddy don't have a Pink Transformer and surprised me with this beauty  

 

I bought a vintage Soundwave at a local comic shop for $25. His battery cover was intact but he had no other accessories. Aside from missing accessories, the figure itself was in good shape.

 

The bot and vehicle mode look great, but especially the vehicle mode.  

Yeah the Datsun bros look cool, will probably pick up Prowl next.

Yep, the dark side indeed.  

 

Found a Combiner Wars Powerglide today, and he just might be my favorite Legends toy yet.
