Also those third-party TFA human figurines is actually dreadful.
They're not even worth the 8bucks which I bought them for.
Paint everywhere, glue, filth.. ImpossibleToys should be ashamed.
I knew they were going to be crap, but damn..

 

Somehow I'm jealous of the Prime and Generations stuff instead of Fort Max.

 

I've been thinking about getting that BW2 Galvatron. How is he?

 

Surprisingly good!
This is the Sonokong release.
I don't believe the figure itself is any different from the Takara version. (someone correct me if I'm wrong.)

The box is very low quality on the other hand. The white tray that keeps everything in place does a piss-poor job. Galvatron was literally upside down when I opened mine. Fortunately he seems solid enough to handle it.

Of course you need to be careful with the gold plastic dragon feed and of course the drill pieces.
For 38$ before shipping I'd say he's worth a shot.
Just keep the GPS in mind.

Just nabbed Sandstorm in NH. Yay!!!

 

Yup, Sonokong releases are the same as the Takara versions, dinky boxes aside. It's a nice way to get a bunch of those Japanese-only Beast Era releases brand new for a decent price. I think the only complaint I've heard about Sonokong stuff is some (in general) end up a bit looser, possibly/probably due to the dinky trays they come in.

38$ for a BWll Galvatron does indeed seem like a decent price to me.
I cant stop fiddling with this figure.

EDIT: Just so you know, if you use the UPC at TRU, it comes up in their system as a 2-Pack of figures, even though it's just Sandstorm. Amazon listed it as two figures as well. Must have been a miscommunication between Hasbro and the retailers.
