Well this has made my morning! I was sleeping on Transformers during the Titan Returns era so missed out on the great redos of the ‘87 characters.

Really hope we get the Takara decos and their Targetmasters packed in.

Does that mean that the 86 figures will be repacked from time to time in Legacy?

Man, how did I miss that? I try not to double-dip on molds, but I will always grab Soundblaster. Definitely getting Twincast as well, but if Blaster is coming with Eject, does that mean Twincast will have Rewind? Just give us a 2-pack for Ramhorn and Steeljaw and we're set.

I'd kept them distinct, with the above just being account of whatever volume of toys we might see in the 1st part of the next trilogy. I kind of feel ill equipped to figure out how much of the SS subline will be SS86, though I was talking to @Bob Schoonover (hello again, Bob. Quite the day, isn't it?)about the idea of getting an SS86 as two Commander class sets. I think we both agreed, quite politely, that I was talking out my arse.

Interesting. Would that be in the same way that a SS86 'themed' character like Cyclonus, Springer, Arcee, Ultra Magnus or the Quitns appeared in Siege/ER/Kingdom? I guess, dpending on execution, I'd consider Blitzwing and whichever Dino we might get as being SS86 themed.

Right. That's why I was keen to talk about 12 months/4 seasons rather than 'a line'. The amount of toys we can get in 'a line' can vary depending on expansion or contraction, but we can be more certain about how much we'll get within a year.

Sorry, I meant more that SS86 figures are still planned to be peppered amongst the regular movie-verse style figures.

I'm also hopeful Generations can keep up the current quality level for a couple more years, looking forward to more like Cyclonus and fewer like Arcee....

Wasn't there a listing for TFP Prime that revealed it (and therefore presumably the Bulkhead retool) to be Leader class?

Ah, gotcha gotcha gotcha. Yeah, for SS86 I've seen all three Insecticons, Swoop, a Sweep, a Junkion, and whichever of Snarl/Sludge is left on the reliable rumour list. Be interesting to see how far they can stretch SS86 out for.

Also, hard agree on quality level. They've really been knocking Voyager class out the park in terms of quality.

I don't recall a size class being explicitly stated, but it wouldn't be the first time I missed something important. I found it hard to reconcile the numbers if I put them in Leader class. Even if I bumped Sludge/Snarl to SS86 that's still too many Leader class figures (unless you bumped Blitzwing to SS86, I guess, though I remember @CactusReporter describing Blitzwing as Legacy) and they filled out Voyager slots nicely.

None of the above is me saying I'm right, I hasten to add, simply explaining what lead me to those choices.

I'm loving all of this news coming out! Especially the jumpstarters getting redone. Now mine won't be mismatched.

    Your sacrifices are appreciated.

Hopefully the rumors of getting some Jr. Headmasters will lead us to getting the rest of the Jr. Targetmasters, especially Landfill and Quickmix. They should just use the gun molds from Scoop for those two since all three had a yellow and a blue gun.

Yeah, I don't know if a size class was explicitly stated but I think it was priced like a Leader.

As long as they don't disrupt stuff like Que, Hatchet or Sideways from coming out, then I'm ok with it.
Just curious, what characters could be considered for SS? Is a Cyclonus repack possible?

Do we have a clearer idea about how will Legacy be divided? Between G1, Prime, BW and possibly Armada?
