Well it just seemed a natural thing for Hasbro and indeed Playmobile to do it since they have the Ghostbusters and Back to the Future licenses alike so they are most of the way there. and it's only as a bit of fun - of course Ready Player One is "lousy" that is self-evident - that doesn't mean I don't see some merit it that particular car getting a physical representation though - even if I think the source is lousy.

Oh and speaking of Playmobile they are making a Playmobil KITT - so that is another tie in to that idea too - so if Hasbro doesn't do it Playmobile perhaps really should. I just thought it made sense as they already have a suitable mould and the related licences. - So like the two Ecto-1's have 2 heads they could mod Gigawatt with a new head and make a "pair" there too - though I guess they could just pick another version of the delorean - but that is to obvious.

I'm not sure if Hotwheels has though of the Ecto 88 idea yet either though ?

Hasn’t the black laser prime repaint always been known as Scourge in the US? And yet in the listings it appears as Black Convoy. I’m not saying it won’t be Thundercracker I wouldn’t be surprised if they change it up.

 

Theres a concurrent Scourge toy on shelves at the same time and neither are quite as prestigious as Megatron to warrant two names at once. There isnt another Thundercracker released at retail to warrant the change

 

Eh Scourge will be last years product (or it should be) by next year. There’ll be two Soundwaves next year. So it’s not impossible, just unlikely.

Well there's SS86 Scourge and another bot who turns into a black long nose truck who is called Scourge coming as well, so maybe 3 coming out at retail would be a bit much for Hasbro.

Oh I forgot about that one. Honestly them having a RotB Scourge that’s clearly based on RiD2001 Scourge seems like all the more reason for em both to share a name (but what do I know lmao).

Not arguing that they will use the Japanese name, if we get one I expect it to be called Thundercracker. Just don’t think you can 100% rule it out.

 

OMG PLEEEEASE YESSSSS! As long as it wasn't as horribly compromised as Titan Predaking was (and being "not G1" already goes a LONG way toward that goal), this would be my first ever "needed" Titan.

 

Orion Pax and A3 is probably a skip for me. It sounds cool but I actually really like TR A3. It's such a strangely hardcore figure and the colors are
b e a u t i f u l. The shoehorned headmaster gimmick doesn't even bother me like it would for most characters since he's such a weirdo anyways.

As for that voyager repaint... is it too much to ask for Twincast and Rewind?

 

I want A3 but not Orion Pax. If the Orion Pax is a crummy repaint I'll be even more annoyed because I only want A3!

I wonder if the Legacy Wave 4 Voyager repaint is another seeker. You know we're gonna get the Seeker trio from that Armada Starscream.
