Actually the designers were trying to hide her wheels so the size change relative to the humans wouldn't be so noticeable.

Seeing as Transformers Mass Shift all over the place in most if not all continuities, I find the obsession with scale to be a waste of time. What good is it if it's in scale but it's too small to play with. Those new microscopic figures that come with the Ark and Galvatron...perhaps they're in scale, but are they any fun? ....and are they really in scale?

Scale works better for Gundam or Macross, where every detail is plotted out (UC Century).

I remember it being discussed that Deathsaurus was potentially on the table if Star Saber succeeded. Do we know if it'd be a mainline figure or would it probably be another Haslab?

We were intially told he had a shot at the 2023 retail line if Star Saber was successful. I would assume at commander class since Deathsaurus is supposed to be as tall as the full Victory Saber mode (likely why Victory Leo mostly becomes platform shoes for Star Saber).

There's really not much need for him to be a haslab. Sure he's big, like I said, about Victory Leo height (which should be close to Siege Jetfire), and he isn't all that complicated, so they could easily give him his breast master partners and weapons while still keeping him the proper size at the commander price point.

 

I don't recall Deszaras being as tall as Victory Saber, and I'm running through the show right now. I was under the impression that Deszaras and Star Saber were the same size, without adding Victory Leo!

If you've seen the bot mode, are his hands & forearms the same shape as SS86 Jazz? Or very different?

 

So, I don't know how stable the plastic will be, but it's likely the main reason Eject may be clear is because only the clear sprue of Blaster's parts actually had space left when they got around to making him. This happens a lot, and it's the reason painted clear plastic was used for Jazz's backpack instead of splitting it into multiple sprues. instead I would expect the clear plastic to be painted over when the figure actually releases.

It would have been clever to make it transparent yellow in order to simulate the chest-lights from IDW, but I know that won't happen. Rewind is my favorite Transformers character so I'm really praying they don't mess this up.

Probably as close as they feasibly could be; I remember seeing the scale chart for Unicron compared to other planets and his robot mode is twice as "tall" as Jupiter.

His planet mode isn't even as big as Earth so [shrug]

 

From what I recall the hands/forearms are fairly similar. No large/obvious retooling.

 

I think this info supports my theory, that Laser Prime benefits from not having to share his budget.

Well it finally took me a few days but I think I can say that I

don't hate Legacy Arcee.

This shot in particular during the panel honestly doesn't look THAT bad to me. I probably won't pre-order her, but maybe after a review or in-hand pics I'll pick one up. Bulkhead is still undecided for me.

 

yeah I've also grown to like them more and I think a lot of the promo images pose or angle them in a way that makes the figure look goofy, unfortunately I'll never think the blue frisbee looks anything else but silly.

 

i definitely am warming up to these new tfp-inspired figures, and im actually believing that knockout wont be too bad.

I’m looking forward to Breakdown the most. Sucks that he’s supposed to be wave 4, might not even release him until 2023. Hope that his vehicle mode is the same as Kingdom Sideswipe/ ER Sunstreaker.

 

hopefully hasbro learns from their mistakes and actually stocks wave 4 at the right time. im more excited for dead end, as hes one of my faveourites

 

so this pulse premium livestream, what could we be be seeing if they do TF reveals? legacy metroplex as he releases in august if the leaked image is real? mayhaps the rest of wave 1 with blaster and the core classes?
