Oh the Brestforce team dynamic is the best, like Swindle is Combaticon of the Year compared to Hellbat

They're similar, but I'm not a fan of the vaguely futuristic glowing blue wheels they put on all the Cyberverse designs so I really don't want that stuff on Drift.
GUOP at least has the excuse of being merely an homage in a purely G1-focused toyline, and by the standards of its time it's actually super high effort.
Agree but I'd amend the second point to include any significant mismatch with the modern aesthetic or engineering style, not just articulation. (I think Tracks and Mirage deserve new-mold redos because they're just so janky they feel like the odd ones out next to the rest of the WFC Autobot cars, but not Wheeljack, even though I wish he had a more accurate car mode. A new Sunstreaker mold might be needed too because the original mold's color matching just seems to be cursed, it's not as bad on the 5-pack version but still worse than most yellow figures because something just looks off about the plastic. They just need to keep the car mode the same so that he'd still match Sideswipe.)
You say that like it's a bad thing. There's a reason Dune is resonating so much with people right now...

All that's left for new mold Mini-Bots is Windcharger, Seaspray, and Powerglide right?

I'm not counting all of the remolds/repaints that we still need to get.

Shadowstriker has them, and I don't mind them on her since her car mode is already so weird and futuristic but I really don't want them on Drift's (hopefully) much more realistic car mode.

Yep. Unless you also want throw Bumper in there.

So at their release rate, we should have them all by 2030?

it's nice to just see something technically not accurate and think 'who cares it looks nice'

like to me there's a difference between say, er wheeljack or sunstreaker not being a 1:1 to the animation models but are like pretty damn close to what the character is supposed to look like, and a difference between say, cyberverse chromia not looking like her at all.

i also want them to have their gimmick if they had one, still implemented. that's why i think windsweeper came out well because the targetmasters are a clever subsitute for the flip out guns, and vector prime (and the cybertron guys in general) having their keys even if the gimmick is manual now. that's why i'm dying for armada starscream's sword because it's his THING and the static one just doesn't cut it.

I don’t care about accuracy. I care about toys looking good and feeling good and not being a pain to transform. If I can tell who the character is, then it’s a job well all around, IMO..

    that too

that's why as much as the new side burn ISN'T exactly like the old one, it's a toy that i know i won't have a problem transforming
