I'll be buying at least 1 of 13 Primes if that Alchemist is a Generations-ed Cyberverse Thewtastic take!

They will be in a capsule, or in a TF One line I reckon.

So, purely numbers via checklists (and regardless how I feel), here’s who’s missing in WFC+ (I’m sure I’m missing a few)

    1984 - Windcharger and Buzzsaw
1985 - Roadbuster, Whirl, Seaspray, Powerglide, Overdrive, Camshaft, Downshift, Topspin, Twin Twist. (Are there really no Decepticons?)
1986 - Too many to list because of Combiners… and they absolutely don’t need to redo Trypticon..
1987+ ways to go.. The ones above are the core ones that people want to complete..

Remember, a toyline/brand usually gets an increased budget in a movie year!

And don't forget the ones that need a PR because they came and went and become exclusive to the scalper cartel…

Similarly, I have a Legacy Soundwave, but no Laserbeak/Buzzsaw/Ravage for him.

I am holding out hope with all these leaks that there may yet be Package Refreshes still to come for this year. Since Dirge was last year, and Ramjet is supposedly next year, my desideratum of a crimson conehead is strangely absent.

I'm surprised there is no Windcharger as well. I am similarly thinking a release is coming, but slipped between the cracks of the other rumors. I feel like he could even be a lazy repaint. Other than I'm sure they'd want him to scale specifically with current minibots like Brawn, Cliffjumber, etc.

Yeah, I'm hoping it's because they wanted a way to reuse Vector Prime's mold and he was the easiest repaint to fit into a mainline release. I always liked that version of Alpha Trion better than the Sunbow design, and I like those colors on Vector Prime better than his original ones too.
It'd be odd but not unprecedented, IIRC in the first year of Legacy the Starscream listing specified 'Armada' but the Hot Shot one didn't because I remember there was speculation over which version of Hot Shot we'd be getting.
Me too, but a black SUV-type vehicle will work perfectly as a police coroner van, which still keeps that same sense of macabre humor as a medic turning into a hearse. Not sure if Hasbro will go for it but we can hope for a Toyhax set to add the coroner markings:

(pic's from GTA because that was the closest I could find to Red Alert's alt mode, but they do exist IRL too) (also not my idea, someone else mentioned this a year or two ago when discussing making him as an ER Trailbreaker repaint)

Must be where I originally saw the idea, I didn't remember you'd actually done a custom of it though. It looks great, this on Red Alert's mold would be perfect IMO.

Is Red Alert bigger or more complex than I remember? Why'd he be a Voyager?

The scaling of the new line and the last of United seems pretty all over the place. We have two Primes who are large characters being stuffed into Deluxe slots with a third one who's canonically a predecessor for micro-sized Transformers also filling up another Deluxe slot so unless Micronus is sub-Core size with a ton of accessories, there's not much sense, possibly Red Alert, and a Deluxe Optimus.

I've got to wonder if Optimus is meant to go with combiners and they're carrying over the association seen in POTP so the other Primes are mostly also intended as companion pieces to the combiners and Optimus. We have a Devastation Optimus coming at the same time as Devastator which is what spurred this thought.

Alpha Trion would be the one who stands out but they've already released a Voyager of him so it could be as simple as trying to keep him consistent with other releases.

Swindle is another weird piece because... where's the rest of Bruticus? If anything, it seems like Vortex with a bonus Alpha Bravo in Gen Selects for those who want the option would be the better move to put a Combaticon inside a year of Aerialbots.

A couple of Gadget hands, the honking great grappling missile launcher and at least a notional nod towards his chest disk launcher would seem at least a Voyager lot of mass, parts and engineering to me, even if one skips the leg-side Minicon Repair bay!

Red Alert was a Max-Con class figure, which were pretty much the Armada's equivalents to Voyagers and they've mostly been sticking the Armada updates in the class sizes that are their modern equivalents. With the exception of Tidal Wave.

    Hot Shot, Wheeljack = Super-Con/Deluxes

    Starscream, Red Alert = Max-Con/Voyager

    Megatron/Galvatron = Giga-Con/Leader

    Optimus Prime = Super-Base/Commander

I'm expecting Red will be the size of Prime when not in super-mode, or a little smaller.

Idk where to post this, but why were there no tie in toys for the Rotb movie? Like I know there were toys of the main characters but where’s the characters that were completely made up just for the toys? Like the original movies toys that were just random made up characters.

they haven't done that since dark of the moon. it's because they would make too much stuff and it would all go on clearance that's why since aoe, it's all been more focused on actual on screen characters

Wasn’t the Vector Prime being a retool of Jhiaxus part of that leak about the Sandstorm/Springer retool that got debunked a while ago?
He’ll get his time… and even then it’ll probably look either really solid, or really bad.
