Spider legs are appropriately beefy, can't tell if they're furry though. Haven't seen transformation instructions, but I think his crotch is a faux part similar to BA just as it looks so different from Beast mode head. Looks like the pecs are the back part of the beast mode head which is pretty clever!

Bulkhead does have two wheels on the back but they're clipped tight together behind his head. He also has a wheel on the outside of each shoulder and two wheels on the outside of each shin.

He looks cool to me :)

I had the exact same thought about clip-on armour. Seems like the best and easiest way to do them properly, really.

Happy to see Crankcase finally coming up, and I hope he's easily IDW-able :D

I wonder if Elita is a Netflix repack like Soundwave, or a Prime Arcee repaint...

The pec part sounds like the OG toy

    Bulky:
Uh-huh! An 8 wheeler he is. Of the military kind? Of course without the camouflage.

He does sound Hound inspired. So the line between the two grows thinner and thinner. Or it's the opposite and this is meant to solidify that AoE/TlK Hound is actually supposed to be Bulkhead, not Hound

So if they're Doing Crankcase.... Might they be doing the other Triggercons. Crankcase is a favorite.... But what about Dogfight? I hope he's being discussed.

If I'm reading the runes right, we're unlikely to see Dogfight, Ruckus, Sureshot, or the other two Insecticons until at least the next chapter of 'Evolution'.

Two observations on that theme: I think you could potentially partialise Ransack and Venom from Kickback, and (though bot-mode purists going to be hating on this) Sureshot from Ruckus (or Ruckus from Sureshot). Their alt modes are similar enough, despite the fact their transformations are 'the wrong way round' from each other.

And developing the theme, Bombshell->Barrage and Shrapnel->Chopshop.

@Apollux I don't know if you can tell from what you've seen so far but does the new Elita have her classic G1 helmet or the Netflix one?

That's a great question, unfortunately I can't tell from the pic I have as I think it has an alt head on it :p

Looks like a more classic style head in the CAD block file, however those files are almost featureless and lack a lot of details as they're just used to test transformation schemes.

Huh. Well that rules out Jetstorm, then; He's not a core franchise character.

Cool. At least BW characters are continuing to get the same care that Kingdom gave them and it's great that he gets two guns. Are you sure it's his TM weapon, as that was a wheel for his TM spider/car form?

Interesting. Would you say that he's less curvy than in the show?

100% he has both weapons and they join together to make a larger superweapon.

Yeah Knockout is less curvy than the show.
    Still looks good though!

In the Cybertron cartoon, were all the Giants about the same size? I know the toys weren't (I have those) but never watched the cartoon. Also, how does Armada Tidal Wave compare (cartoon to cartoon)?

    Cool.

Could you tell us if he has the following key Knockout features:

Those big, rounded things on his shoulders (the ones that the headlights are attached to on the show model)
Those spikes coming out of his shoulders
Wheels sticking out, behind his shoulders?

I'd ask about deco, but I know you're unlikely to know about that.

    For reference.

Negative on wheels behind shoulders and the spikes sorry. I think he may be a partial of another figure actually.

Speculation here, but maybe one of the Stunticons? (Porsche type)

Man, it's really sounding like all the Prime designs are being stripped of their personality. Bulkhead isn't chubby and Knockout's lacking in flare.

You're probably right that most of these guys are 18+ months out, though we do have SS86 and Gen Selects as options. (I don't see how they can fit much else into SS or Legacy at this point.) However, since they said that they would put a priority on finishing groups that they start, I would say we WILL see all of them in some form, some line in the next few years.

Man, what is it with the partials in this legacy line? Starting to sound like Prime Wars Trilogy all over again, with everyone a partial of everyone else haha

From what you've seen so far, would you say, that the Legacy Lines Gimmick is
    a) to carry over the scale from WFC and
    b) to merge all Universes into one universal asthetic? Which would be modern greebled G1 style, such that you can place Prime Knockout and Bulkhead onto your WFC shelf without them feeling like different toylines

Yeah, read my assumption in "b)". Could just be Hasbro being lazy again with their partials or a unifying goal perhaps, which I can dig, if they look good. But I feel where you're coming from. I cannot imagine liking this Bulky and Knockout from what's been said, but I need to see leaks before I can make my final judgement

Fortunately, for some of us, this is great. I love the merging of universes and aesthetics. Bring it on.

Huh, that's interesting, it doesn't seem like he's in the mainline? He might be a retool of Elita 1, who is in there. And if so, I wonder if Elita is a headmaster?
