Legacy Menasor is too small compared to CW Devastator or CW Devastator is too big compared to Menasor. With that said, I also don’t mind if Devastator would be bigger than the other combiners (in fictions or in toys). First they are a combination of 6 robots while most of the other combiners are 5. Also they are huge constructions vehicles to start with, so it make sense that 6 large constructions machinery would be bigger than let’s say, a van and 4 sport cars. I know scales are what it is, and the constructions were the same size as the car bots in the show, but if you want to be technical, Long Haul alone should be pretty damn huge.

And to big with all the other non-Titan combiners.
    Agreed.

I just ordered LG Jetfire and KO MP Grimlock from Aliexpress, so I guess now it's time for Legacy Cyberverse or Stormbringer Jetfire and an SS86 Grimlock reissue or toy-colors repaint to leak lol.

I’m fully expecting once I put down money for Studio Cell Primus, Hasbro will announce “Titan Class Cybertron Universe Primus”, lol.

I wonder why the Studio Series '86 toys don't have licensed altmodes (for the Autobot Cars not the later Autobots)? For Jazz it's fine that he isn't licensed because he's a Porsche. But why don't '86 Ironhide and Hound have licensed altmodes? Nissan and Jeep already licensed several TF product like a few years ago; Nissan licensed the Masterpiece Datsuns and Jeep licensed the Masterpiece Hound.

I doubt licensing an altmode would even restrict their toon-accuracy. Also it's SS not Legacy so it would be unfair that the live-action figures are only getting licensed altmodes but not the '86 Autobot Cars (Hound & Ironhide).

I jthink that the Earth SS86 figures don't have licensed car modes moreso to fit in with the other Generations figures with generic alt-modes, seeing as the only Generations figure with a licensed alt-mode in recent history is the Netflix Bumblebee mold, rather than creating a greater divide between the two lines.

They probably just didn't want to spend the extra money on licensing when they're from a cartoon where the car modes were all drawn with low-enough detail that the figures can still be accurate without perfectly recreating every detail of the real-world cars they're based on. I do wish they could've at least gotten Ironhide's van mode as close to the Nissan van as the ER one was though, obviously the uniformly clear windows and finished back end make the SS86 van mode better overall but I like the front end of the ER version a lot better.

I’d like Armada Mini-Cons repainted from regular size Transformers. Some new story would have Mini-Cons reformatted into full size Autobots and Decepticons.

To start with; Jolt and Swindle would be repainted from Spinister and Mirage.

Personally I always thought it'd be kinda nifty if we got some alternate universe where the Microns / Micromasters were now giant and the legacy characters were the small ones.

I belive that during Q&A from last SDCC, designers mentioned that they would do minicons when they will go further ito Armada. Right now we have/will have 4 characters (Starscream, Megatron, Hot Shot and OP) and we don't have any info/leak on minicons. Did Micromasters failure removed them from consideration?

that kind of defeats the purpose of them being "Mini"-cons

there was never a concrete "yes" but they've teased the possibility.

I don't think so, since micromasters disappeared during kingdom, and it's been 2 years (oh god) since then so I don't think so.

Really wish they could have called them Microns like in Japan. Mini-con just associates them with Decepticons for me.

But then again, in Japan the Decepticons are called Destrons, so both in Japan and elsewhere they share the same ending as the bad guys.

I remember that being a point of contention back during Armada and Energon with people saying having the -Con ending to the subname made it sound like the groups were specifically Decepticon aligned. Though this seemed to be a bigger issue for people when it cane to the Omnicons since they were specifically Autobot aligned where as Minicons could align with either faction. I still agree that Microns would have been better as it sounds obviously more neutral and the Omnicons could have just as easily been called the Omnibots since it's not like Hasbro hadn't reused G1 subteam names on new teams created for non-G1 properties over the years.

They're the spawn of an evil creature, so it makes sense they'd share the same ending as the villains.

January 17 and 24 are two other dates to keep track of, with 24 hinted to be something ROTB-related. Preorders for ROTB Core Class Wave 1 and Deluxe Airazor and Voyager Cheetor are coming during some weeks of January.
