Seeing how arcee and bulkhead look I think it won't look too bad, I mean,it sure won't be accurate but at least it won't look like shit

    Right?

I think so for sure and I mean we forget but Evan said at SDCC they are working on the G1-ified style to be a better balance:

"they have heard the stylization feedback about the TFP figures, so they are working on trying to find a better balance regarding G1-ification."

I mean I thought both of those were pretty ugly, with Bulkhead looking like a thin dude wearing a cardboard box, and Arcee's legs and face sculpt being subpar imo

Honestly Bulkhead looks way better in person (the thighs look way less "thin") and he was the one that bugged me out of KO, and Arcee when revealed cause he's the least Prime design like. Also while I didn't get Arcee minus the face I thought she looks fine.

While not great it's not the worst thing ever tbh. Still don't think it's terrible enough to ruin the figure IMO.

It's not the one thing that makes me not like the figure, but it is a prominent one of many, and it is my opinion

For me I'd say the leg wheels (doesn't ruin it but does bug me slightly) and the face. But that's just my opinion tbf.

Either way, I am curious to see more TFP designs in Legacy, how Skyquake's gonna look and what the better balanced G1-ified style is as well.

The pics they used for Arcee and Bulkhead didn't sell me on them but seeing them in person, they both looked a lot better.

I imagine Skyquake is probably too far into development for them to have taken into account the reception of the initial Prime figures but I've liked them so far so it's no sweat off my back. Though I do wish Knockout and Arcee came with expressive faces rather than the standard neutral ones.

I don't have Arcee but as expected I knew in hand and in reviews leaked they would look much better.
Skyquake we shall see since the first 3 were done under Warden as concept art.

But I also like the Prime figures so far and I mean his design isn't 100% as complex as Bulkhead, Arcee or KO so he should hopefully fair better.

The plastic on the nose cone shattered on my Prime Skyquake.

    I wouldn’t mind a new one.

Given that they've already redone Arcee with a figure that really doesn't look that different gives me hope that they'll revisit Tracks soon. Mostly just fix the stability issues and give his hood a decent paint job and I think most people would be fine with it.

And I totally agree with you on Starscream. That mold was so disappointing to me when compared with the Siege figure. Proportions were off, articulation wasn't great, and it really showed no imagination. I can believe that it was the product of a time crunch. We seem to get a Starscream every year - Siege, ER, Core, SS86 Coronation, Armada - so we shouldn't wait too long. I imagine we'd see a Cybertron Starscream next, and maybe a new seeker after that?

That's awfully optimistic lol, if we were holding steady at 2 Cybertron figures per year I'd definitely expect Starscream to happen but given the fact that there aren't any known cybertron characters in year 2 and no more apparemt available voyager slots I doubt he'll happen for a while. They might go for some of the minor Starscreams first, then eventually Cybertron, then maybe animated, and then finally eventually a new g1 seeker mold that doesn't suck

None with listings at the moment.

But probably an easy guess Megatron and Starscream will get redecos into Galvatron and Thundercrakcer.
