IMG_1795.JPG IMG_1796.JPG Welp here's the worst and best in my still growing and small collection
    Worst:
    RiD Bumblebee Figure
This thing is a huge peice of junk...His legs can't even move, his design is awful.

    Best:
Blurr and Rumble from Titans Return (Can't decide)

    BEST:

Tokyo Toy Show 2015 LG-EX Black Convoy.

    IMG_20161130_004331.jpg

A stellar mold with a level of engineering long gone and a lovingly thought-out deco. After lending him a CW gun, he's the perfect representation for the character on my Generations shelf. UW Baldigus will just multiply the millenial awesomeness. RID01 was the very first Transformers cartoon that I ever watched when I was three years old so I'm thoroughly stoked to see it getting some renewed attention.

    WORST:

    Combiner Wars Menasor.

    IMG_20161130_004345.jpg

Menasor is a toy that I love. It's got a solid deco and great individual components, a dominatingly "powerful" presence as a display piece, but it's just so flawed. There's some less appealing and less functional toys on my shelf, but Menasor is the objective "worst" only because those toys weren't designed to do anything more than they do. Menasor was. He was designed to be sturdier and dynamic, but he isn't. Getting him to stand at all is a chore. He's the only figure to jump off of my shelf under his own power, multiple times. Sad but true. I love him but he's just the fucking worst.

Best figure in my collection is the Warpath mold but if I had to pick one it would have to go to Treadshot.

    IMG_1877.JPG
Worse has to be Prime Airachnid... No surprise. And I took a picture of her in her BEST mode and one that I actually like to look at (Which is also how I display her).

Going by only what I have currently displayed:

    BESTEST:

    MMC CARNIFEX

    mmccarnifex.jpg
MMC's Carnifex usurped MP10-B as my favorite piece in my collection... and he knows it too. Look at his smug face. He knows he's better than everyone else. All of these other bots? Just wastes of plastic to the almighty Carnifex. Get them out of here! That upcoming Hastak leader toy of Overlord? Puhleez! Carnifex looks forward to dissecting that pathetic imitation.

    WORSTEST:

    TITANMASTER LOUDMOUTH

    tmsiren.jpg

Look at this stupid piece of crap. He thinks he looks soooo cool in his nice red and grey cybertronian sports car. Gonna probably try to pick up some fembots with it while chugging some Pabst Blue Ribbon. Makes me sick. He doesn't even have a real body. Someone needs to knock him down a peg.

Not to be rude, but like, you bought a 1 step changer and are mad that it transforms quickly? The other stuff while I personally find excusable I understand if you don't but a quick transformation is their entire point.

If you paid full retail for him then I can't blame you. I like a lot of 1-steps but for ten bucks..yeesh does it bite. Even eight would make me feel better.

The RID one-step Underbite is the only toy I've straight-up thrown away. Granted, its because I took it apart in an ill-thought-out attempt at fixing it after the transformation mechanism stopped working. After a while I looked at the pile of parts before me that I knew I could never put back together and just tossed it.

I don't know whether the lack of ROTF Scalpel pictures in this thread is saddening or encouraging. Either there are people who actually like him, or all copies of the figure have been destroyed and we can prepare for our ascension to the heavens.

Then you shall be left on Earth to spend an eternity with that abomination!

In all seriousness, I barely see what there is to like about it - it can barely stand up, it's fragile as heck (usually broken out of the packaging), it's out of scale, it's based upon a rather naff design, it doesn't look a whole lot like said design, doesn't have the right alt-mode, antennae get bent easily...

The two pros are that the alt-mode can be used with other figures and that (if you're into it) the design is unconventional, but for me, the cons just kill it.

Best: Pretty much everything I choose to keep on shelves, so my entire displayed collection. My favorites change day to day so I can't pick one specifically. Only things I refuse to display are put away and those are what I would say are the worst.

    That said...

Worst: FOC Rumble/Frenzy & Eject/Rewind data discs bots :thumbdown

You're certainly not wrong. I recall it taking me a while to find one that wasn't broken right in the package. I think I actually ended up Frankensteining one together from a couple different ones.

But yeah, I don't know. I think it's just that he's such an unconventional design and alt mode. Him and Ejector always hold a special place in my heart for a time when Hasbro actually seemed to care about the movie toy lines. Like, maybe we didn't get all the Constructicons, but we got a toaster and and microscope, so...

I try to get the figures that appeal to me but yeah the FOC Disks where a waste of time. I only got the D-con ones.

I agree about Menasor. Really, really bad figure. Same goes for CW Optimus Prime in combined mode.

With that said, Menasor becomes an awesome figure with the Perfect Effect upgrades. Easily one of my favorites with the upgrades.

My best figure has to be G1 Jetfire. Huge, amazing and the closest thing to a Masterpiece Transformer until MP-1 Convoy. If only he wasn't such a yellow-prone fragile fucker.

I was going to say that the worst figure that I own is a tie between Universe Tankor and Classics Rodimus. But.... then I remembered FoC Onslaught. I can forgive the rest of the Combaticons but that Onslaught is what put the final nail in FoC Bruticus' coffin. Every single mode sucks!

I'm contemplating but I think Bisk has just surpassed Warpath as best figure in my collection. :D
