It's always surprised me that some enterprising company hasn't repro'd the addon parts from Trypticon to go with Gigastorm.

 

My money's on that being a fan put together display. Even strapped for cash Takara would have put together something more impressive then that.

 

I think there was news of a Predacons reissue (from Hong Kong or something) a while ago. Still, it seems like a reach to assume this pic implies that all of these figures are being reissued. Even if it does turn out to be true, I don't see how this pic is proof of anything....I could take the same pic at my house. I'm going to agree with those who say this is just some person's display, and not a product showing by Takara.

Last we heard, Predaking was to be re-reissued in the same packaging as the first reissue, through Hasbro HK who are Takara's Hong Kong agents.

Maybe that particular plan was shelved, and Takara are (re)reissuing it directly themselves... but assuming the rumor is true, why would they passover another (relatively) cheap Predaking reissue, but go to the trouble of reissuing all those other toys.

... and even if they were reissuing Predaking, directly aimed at the Japanese market, wouldn't they play their cards closer to their chest, and not announce the others. For whatever reason, they've been quiet on reissues recently.

Like i said earlier, just screams too good to be true.

If this is true.....the sign me up for all but the insecticons (which I own 5 million sets already) Already have original Predaking loose but a nice new minty one in box would be perfect!

I hope this is true, aside from the Insecticons and Mindwipe, I would pick all those up, especially the Pred and Trypticon

 

I could see Predaking getting reissued again, and Trypticon since they've done other bases. But Deathsaurus? Unlikely. And Mindwipe? Extremely unlikely.

This is too much "HE TELL ME" mixed with with "some guy's collection". But hey, watch me be wrong.

same here i think my wallet was plotting to sue me for divorce over it!

 

Finally a new TRYPTICON to match my new Metroplex. I'll take Dezarus just for novelty but I really hope that Trypticon comes true. I have a 1986 one and its nigh impossible to find all the parts to complete him. This will be full of win win win win!


Edit: ah crap its fake. WTF! Im sad now. I'll never have a complete Trypticon! Crap in a hat!
