Thank you for saying this. A line with only new molds can never exist.

 

Also, the amount of non-retooled/repainted molds in Studio Series still vastly outweighs the ones that have been retooled/repainted. This shit ain't cheap.

 

I actually don't think I need this, with the DOTM one coming out soon, I'm perfectly fine with my regular SS ROTF Megatron.... unless I see this guy in-box looking absolutely necessary

I also had a dream where I found Studio Series blitzwing. Maybe I should sleep more.

 

I would guess that a Modern take on The Fallen could be done is they really wanted to. Perhaps if they could find some way to implement the flexible / expanding pipes attaching his arms to his body in a reasonable way. But a "cheeky" cash grab thing to do might simply be to sell a gift set with the old Blue one in it but painted up in dark charcoal with some nice looking flamey bits. I'd still not say no to the old Megatron rises gift set either - especially if they tweaked the constructicon colours - as I would really have liked the chance to make a whole other Devastator out of different colours.

But making a new mould Studio Series The Fallen isn't the craziest of ideas - when they already have the jet Optimus to fight it. But then there is plenty of things that 'could' get made like KSI troopers or Starscream's babies or Hatchet that seems like they have some logic to it too.

 

I had one of those, it turned out to be a rather convincing hallucination. I clued into this when I saw The Fallen getting an SS figure, it was also the island made of song and horrific visions driving me towards madness that chimed me in. Aren't night terrors great!
