That's a cool looking head...
but on the same merit, I hope it's not Shockwave.

 

Looks good so far. Shockwave's the only TF3 character I'm interested in, so it's good to say they've done (at least his head) right

 

I REALLY wish some of this stuff wasnt splattered all over the home page.........

I stopped by after work. I'd say the head made its appearance between 6:20 and 6:50.

 

...Wh-Why? It's a pretty faithful adaptation of him.

 

Is it really necessary to quote three huge pictures when you won't even write a real sentence?

Even if you can’t see too much detail, the initial outline of what you can see looks like Shockwave. One big optic, horns, looks like our favorite cyclops Decepticon to me.

To be honest, after seeing the last bot, I really was worried that they weren't going to get Shockwave's head design right. Now we just need to see the rest of him, but as long as they got the iconic head right, then I'm sure most fans will be happy.

 

I was REALLY hoping we'd have another Josh Nizzi with MitGas' design of Shockwave for TF3. It's just awesome:



But really, if they throw in a bit of these designs here, I think Shockwave will turn out great.

I dunno, as cool as the real movie is, I somehow when it comes on dvd want to see a edition where the CGI bots aren't there but the heads on a sticks are and you still hear them talk and all.

I think it would be a funny lil outtake

 

I am still trying to figure out why the light was on it, they can do that sometimes if they have multiple cgi characters talking and they need humans to look one way and another when the other robot is talking etc. Whichever robot is talking the red light goes on and you look to the red light.

with the red light being on you relly can't see much else.

Shockwave looks to only stand two stories tall? Oh well, maybe they didn't have a big enough "steek"
