Good grief, these things are the size of deluxe figures??   I was assuming they were legends at best, based on their simplicity, minimal detail & part count, etc. Now they just look even more cheap and lazy.

I'll wait to see proper-quality figures or renders before judging these movie designs, I guess. Hopefully they'll look better than this.

Not really since I grew up with Camaro Bumblebee and I'm use to Camaro/a Muscle car being Bumblebee's alt mode.

 

Yeah Micheal Bay Bee head has me already ready to skip this one already.

 

It has parts from his 2007 design guys. Pack it up, let's go home.

Jokes aside, this has me FURIOUS. I hope this movie does good enough so that they can reboot it. If this movie fails, it's going to bring down the entire franchise. I'm praying to every single god, hoping that this is based off of concept art. I'm pissing and crying everywhere because of this.

 

^^^ this is exciting to me, cause so many bayformer designs look like robot characters -themed- after their vehicles, not robots made out of vehicles. like, beyond his chest windows, i dont think theres a single identifiable truck part on bayformer optimus. hell, he even lost the chest windows come the last knight ! Same with movie 1 Bee, beyond his back doors and bit of crumpled hood chest, he doesnt look like he turns into anything imo. i think its the reason so many movie studio series toys are cursed with crazy peel-open backpack type transformations, because theres just no identifiable car parts on them to turn the vehicle into. i LOVED that Shatter and Dropkick didnt look like bots -wearing- vehicles or bots -themed- after vehicles, they truly were bots -MADE- out of vehicles. Its crazy the role kibble plays in something like that.

Give me a scourge with a big angry grill chest and hood shoulders
Give me battletrap with a big towtruck arm and cab feet
Give me Arcee with fenders for heels.
I just want robots who look like they are transformers, in robot mode.

 

That and he said he wanted the bots to look less blocky and look like they can move and not look akward.

It probably is based on early concept art (idk if it's approved concept art but it's definitely concept art based) since the Off-Road part of the Camaro is even different on the actual thing.


Plus we've heard that the actual regular Camaro design is his BB design with door wings (which of course could be false but who knows).

If bumblebee has to be ugly in every movie then count me out man I'm tired I wanted to see a new interpretation it doesn't even have to be exactly what I'm imagining but something different

 

I know it's subjective but I think he looks way less "ugly" compared to his Bay design.

And I get why they haven't completely changed it since to the GA that face design is the most iconic

The very end of 2021. He, Wheeljack, Mirage, Airazor and Nightbird are all part of wave 1. They were leaked for this year but Hasbro was about to delay them to 2023 it seems.
