Definitely looks in line stylistically with the off road prime we've been seeing.
I wonder if these souped up off road vehicle modes are really the main ones in the movie and the prop vehicles we've seen on set are only in the first half or so.
I know we haven't seen that many leaks really but all the autobots have been in these off road forms.

 

will we see the same outcry for them to completely reinvent designs carry over to the 15th iteration of door-wings ball-gag bumblebee? or does that only apply when characters look like G1?

 

There needs to be more beasts revealed   

 

I like the idea of Bee having an off-road alt-mode, wasn't he also meant to have one in Rise? (The canceled game, not the movie)

I still wish they got rid of that god-forsaken speaker-mouth / ballgag face and just gave him something like the design that was in the prequel comic. Allowing him to talk would also be pretty swell because mute Bumblebee has officially been done to death.

At the rate we're going, this guy's going to leak the entire toyline before the first promo for the movie even comes out

 

I wonder if this is how he's gonna look in the movie. I see there is much more resemblance to how he looked in TF1, which is pretty cool I guess.



Really hope they officially reveal something for us (concept arts maybe like what they did with TLK) instead of keeping us hanging for another year.

 

Barely any articulation, limited paint apps, and outside clip-on wheels make it a no go. Oh and now hollowing out heads in "deluxe" figures.

 

Well that was a surprise. Doesn't look too bad imo outside of the lacking paint in the robot mode. The car mode does look oddly good tho.

 

This is part of the line for kids, give it a break. We'll get our SS figures eventually.

 

I was so busy analyzing the design that may not even be accurate to the film whatsoever to even comment on the laughable quality of these things.

 

You're assesment is accurate with the exception of these being deluxes. These look like the basics with a new name for this line. You're not getting masterpiece level stuff at 10 to 12 bucks.

There was such a Bee drought going on lately.

 

Bad paint apps aside it looks better than the Fast Action Battler Bee I had as a kid.

 

Atleast nowadays. Though, i guess making the arms and legs one piece help abit with stability. And at least this mold have ankle tilts so it had that going for it.

Perhaps if i get this mold, and that's a big if. i should figure out a way to tinker around and do some divide those limb pieces and find some plastic to apply some additional joints to make elbows and knees somehow.

The cannon arm could prove to be trickier though.

For what it's worth, these are pretty clearly toys meant for younger kids who are expected to play rough with them, so keeping expectations low is probably apt.

Still, as a tease of Bee's alt mode, it's neat to see, and I personally really dig these altmodes for Bee and Prime.

At the same time, I think I don't want to see more leaks so far ahead of the movie. I know that's not really gunna happen unless I stay out of the TF fandom, but that's how I feel. I still want there to be some surprises in that movie for me. There probably won't be, but eh.

Yeah, I also found it funny how the alt modes looks a lot better than the robot modes.
