Hiya guys, was just wondering if Takara Tomy would re-issue the Henkei line. I mean why wouldn't they? They already have re-issued Optimus Prime. I hope they do because I'm in a desperate need of Henkei Rodimus because of FansProject Protector. Well, thanks for looking and and reply!

It's possible, I mean they are reissuing Henkei Rodimus as part of the Sons of Cybertron set, he's just clear.

I am actually kind of surprised that it hasn't happened yet by either Hasbro or Takara.

I know that they are reissuing him as a two part but the only problem is he's clear.

Well, Hound and Prime had a re-stock across most online stores not so long ago, and there always seems to be some new Henkei figure cropping up from time to time - I think Dark Skyfire is the most recent.
Plus I fully expect/demand that the new Generations figures will be Henkei-fied at some point.
As for older figures, well it would be nice, especially for those who missed them first time around. Like anything of course, if there's a market for it, it will probably happen.

No Guarantees but maybe some other figures will be reissued. How did Prime and hound get reissued anyway? Wasn't it just a special run for a specific region?

Wasn't the rumor Takara pitched these items for their market? I don't really remember so don't quote me lol

In the same rumour report that Sixshot and Predaking were being reissued, it was reported that Henkei Prime, Hound AND Cyclonus were also being re-released. We've had Prime and Hound so far...

Not sure if it was a 'reissue' as such, just that for some reason all (or most) of the online TF stores got stock back in of these 2 figures. No idea where they came from or if we'll see others in the future.

Yeah, the rule of them regarding reissues...

If its Optimus Prime? 99.9999999999 percent the guy sees at least 1 reissue.

Anyone else? 50 percent, its a coin flip.

I got my Hound in from Robotkingdom on Friday so yeah they do reissue Henkei.

Take a look on ebay and if a deluxe figure starts creeping into the $60-70 range, it seems like HasTak take notice and figure out a way to do a re-release either by doing a second run or releasing a slight redeco in the states.

Case in point: Hound, Cyclonus, Rodimus, Thrust, Dirge, Red Alert, Optimus (not deluxe but it was obvious there was a market).

Based on this I wouldn't be surprised to see Thundercracker and even Skywarp getting a second run. Maybe even Wildrider? Please?

I'd love for them to a reissue of Cracker and Warp, though I doubt they do.

There's both. The Henkei versions preorder only went up last week and sold out fast.

I can't tell if toyarena is sold out or not.

Yeah, there's a 0% chance of Henkei Thundercracker and Skywarp being reissued. Both were online exclusives and available for a limited time period. Maybe you'll see a Generations Thundercracker but as for Henkei, not happening.

That's pretty much what I meant. Thrust and Dirge were Gentei exclusives too weren't they?

That... isn't remotely how it works.
Thundercracker and Skywarp were store exclusives, Wildrider was a WonderFestival (?) exclusive.

There may be an wide American release on Thundercracker, seeing how Thrust and Dirge are getting them. But unless HasTak designs a new, different Wildrider- it's not happening.

LOL obviously I'm not implying that's how HasTak make their decisions. It's an anecdotal observation, hence me saying "...it seems like...".

My only point was that figures that are in demand are more likely to get a second run.

So I'm guessing the three pack one is my only last chance to get the Rodimus?
