Yeap, definitely just gonna buy Takara's 10th anniversary BB as my TLK stand-in... Ugh.

 

That Bumblebee would have worked better if it was a remold of the DOTM deluxe.

 

Bumblebee so far is the only complete turn off of the line. Seriously, you make a design better suited for toy form and then just reuse the old one? If it saved money so they can make that Barricade, I am totally fine with it. That's just how I will rationalize the decision.

The Dread is unexpected but kind of cool. They shouldn't have painted the windows blue, however. That just doesn't look right in this realistic setting. Here's to hoping that for the van they actually do remolding and give it a proper color scheme (the van supposedly resembles Crowbar in robot mode.)

 

Considering Bumblebee is back to looking like himself again in the new film, and has a cool Camero mode to boot, it's gonna be a damn shame if that's the Bumblebee that gets released.

That Dread is cool, even has the weapon he used in DOTM.
Maybe Bee looks like his AOE design for a (small) part of TLK? If not, it's a disappointing choice to repaint his AOE figure.

 

Barricade = Turtle Power.

 

Barricade and Berserker look great. That Bee not so much. Unfortunately both of my AOE Bee's broke, so I guess I'll have to get this one. I do like the pale yellow on it at least.

 

Aside from the backpack which I'm sure it folds up more Barricade looks sweet. Like that even though he has a new design you can tell it's him with the way his robot mode evokes the old design.

I don't know what they were thinking with Bee. If they're going to use an old mold for him why not the DOTM mold and retool it to look more like TLK design? That would've made a lot more sense then with just using the AOE Bee who looks nothing like TLK Bee.

The new dread mold Berserker was certainly unexpected but cool looking. funny that his alt mode looks a lot ike the DOTM Crankcase figure but robot mode is a different story entirely.

 

Looks like Crankcase (Berserker?) will be back in this movie with his old SUV form. Does this verify that the old WV van is not Crankcase? Or it may be that Hasbro is being lazy and does not want to design a new mold for him. Probably the latter considering even Bumblebee isn't movie accurate.

EDIT: A second look—it might be a new mold.

While I dig them all, I\'m hesitant and rather wait for the toy fair reveal, because while Hasbro did repaint toys for another movie (2007 voyager optimus and ROTF voyager optimus), I don\'t want to believe that that bumblebee is going to be the one for TLK. Barricade is beautiful. And that dread mold needs more paint because to me,it looks like one step stuff. All in all though, I\'m stoked. 

 

Okay, Berserker, Crowbar, Hooligan, whatever he's called, he looks AMAZING. I WANT one. That Bumblebee, though... Dear God, Hasbro... Why? AOE Deluxe Bumblebee is good, okay? I like the AOE Deluxe Bumblebee. But... really??? You're just gonna re-release it with a worse paint job??? Sigh. At least I don't have to worry about being tempted by the new Bumblebee figure this time around (except maybe as a birthday/Christmas present for my brother). The DOTM Deluxe suits me just fine, and I'm running out of space anyway. This is really turning out to be the Decepticon's line

 

I would want that Crankcase so bad if it was 2011. Also that Bee looks fucking stupid. WTH

 

i wish they redid that bumblebee design almost my favorite one, but the toy is so flawed it hurts, -_-, i knew they wouldnt but still had hopes, also the dread looks awesome, though i hope takara uses clear windows that is the only thing bugging me, i will totally get another crankase just to have it next to this one

Not sure if I'll get the new Barricade, the only AOE figures I got were the Dinobots, Evasion Prime, and Lockdown. But I really want that Dread, even if its color scheme is a little off.

That Bee though...eugh. What a waste.
