His head looks like its came out of the movie Stargate.

 

I've gotta be honest, it's a bit depressing how Bumblebee was so, so, so G1 accurate, and the fandom went NUTS for it (especially that Cybertron prologue), with villains that while Bay-inspired, had enough humanoid features that their actual emotions could be identified

And now we're back to jagged grey space monsters

 

Yep, I came here to post this same thing. I read a rumor that Scourge is actually Prime from another timeline so I'm feeling like that theory may be true after seeing Scourge's head.

 

Nothing about this figure looks remotely impressive on any level, or worth the leader class pricepoint.

God, Studio Series leaders have fallen off hard.

 

It was the figure I looked forward to the most in Studio series for 2023, and this was what we got. An inaccurate truck, and a small robot mode. I was hoping at the bare minimum we could get an accurate truck so I could at least have a physical version of that badass mad max truck.  

 

Is this studio series or ROTB main line?

 

Yeah, it's pretty disappointing. I don't see where the Leader budget went. I just got The Fallen the other week and you can see all the parts and paint and size that went into that figure being a Leader. And it's The Fallen of all characters.

There are no mainline Leaders AFAWK.

 

Its the SS leader. Unfortunately, there Is no mainline scourge coming.

 

Looks like he should also belong in The Lord of the Rings... Sauron or something..

 

If I end up purchasing this figure, I will have to make him a poncho.

 

Scourge looks neat but it's not a figure I need to own. Out of the leaked names, the only SS ones I plan to get so far are Battletrap, maybe Primal, and maybe Rhinox. If I get an Airazor, it'd be the mainline one

 

Complex? No. Just no. Not complex. Not due to
parts counts. Not due to extra accessories. Not due to paint apps. It's a Voyager at 55 bucks.

I'd say Scourge looks like he's about to dine on turtle soup.  

 

I love Scourge, but Primal is the main even for me. I'm just dying to know what a Leader class Primal would look like.

 

Heh, just occured to me his weapon is a Mega Buster.

 

Not sure if I'll pick it up but I enjoy that they're still experimenting with the proportions and body shapes. One of the best aspects of the movie designs is them willing to try out different silhouettes to make them feel more distinct from each other, rather than just looking like a regular humanoid shape

 

He looks good for what he is. And yeah I realize Scourge is supposed to be black, but goddamn, I'm so over the Bayverse look that ROTB is foolishly moving back to.

All because of Lorenzo di Bonaventura's vanity.

IDK with Scourge and Bumblebee and the Beasts, just from its merch and a trailer alone, this movie stinks of three scripts stapled together, i.e. the think that doomed 3 of the last 6 Transformers movies.

 

I think he looks awsome but that's definitely not a leader lmao. Definitely grabbing him on sale.

 

If it turns out this toy is actually a Voyager I'd be a lot more forgiving.

Don't know that I'd get it, but it'd be a lot more reasonable given how thin and basic he is.
