Yes, I was kidding. I own 3rd party figures from MMC, Planet X, and APC. I edited it out because it came off as "explaining the joke".

 

I think this looks pretty cool! It’s obviously mistransformed, so I won’t jump to conclusions. Based on what we can see, it kind of reminds me of The Fallen. The head looks cool! Kind of like Maximus’ mask in Gladiator.

Whether we’re looking at the front or the back, I expect this part to look more cohesive when properly transformed. Look at all that truck kibble behind his shoulders. I can very easily imagine a transformation like MPM Optimus Prime or ROTF Optimus Prime, where a bunch of truck kibble comes over his shoulders to tab onto his chest to form a coherent look.

 

A lot of people don’t, but it doesn’t stop them from acting like they do. But it’s never really about whats “good” or “bad”, it’s about them not liking something and thinking that their opinion is objective, rather then subjective, and then trying to force everyone else to think the same way, or make a monster out of anyone who disagrees.

Then I’m sorry if my response seemed harse. I’ll admit I don’t take posts like that well, as a lot of people genuinely think that way and it just strikes a nerve in me to see such bias masquerading as moral policing.

 

But, like, we have an entire 3P forum. And it's arguably the most active forum on the site.

I dunno, seems weird to be self-admittedly touchy about a subject that's generally well accepted here. If 3Ps were constantly under assault and marginalized I'd get it, but they're really not. Some people don't like them. That's fine, they're not the majority. (or at the very least not an active/vocal majority)

Outside of the 3P forum, you’ll see people really biased against it. And sometimes even in the 3P forum itself. I never said they were a majority either, just that they exist and when I see stuff like that it strikes a nerve for me as it’s just objectively wrong.

It might also be more fitting to say that when I see people making absurd claims because of their own personal biases, it pisses me off.
