i still dont think being CORE class is an excuse for laziness, arcee didnt need mp engineering, just some more CARE to be a better figure, budget is not an excuse, it provides limits, YES, but is never an excuse for a lazy unfinished and unpolished design

Only took me 16 years, but I think I am finally done buying the movie lines. This stuff just has no interest to me.

 

The Bay designs r terrible because they are not TFs. They're alien monsters. From a director who grew up with hokey invasion movies.

Where in TF lore is there a monster plot to attack Earth and eat humans?

Remove the TF branding, and Bay might've held my interest with the 50s style invasion plot... as its own thing. But trying to mash Optimus Prime in that sci-fi?

*sigh* yes they are, you just don't like them and need to get over it. I'm not a big fan of the Animated aesthetic but I'm not gonna say that "they are not TFs". This attitude really needs to go away, it is just a different iteration that you aren't a fan of.

Also Decepticons, and other antagonists, have attacked Earth plenty of times in the lore. I also don't know what you mean by "eat humans" because nobody does that in the movies.

 

i get the "characterization" or lackthereof but designs?
how is that people forget rampage tarantulas and...you know what? whatever, im tired of cardboard designs (geewun) and that wont change anything either

He looks fittingly creepy for some toy mash-up though.

 

Personally, I'd wait for correctly transformed pics before calling Arcee unfinished and unpolished since she's very clearly mistransformed (at least in vehicle mode) in the stock photos

 

Agreed, or waiting for Samlock to post the render of her which will be transformed correctly.

Also just idk how to at the Core budget make it look better. I feel like they did the best they could.

 

They could've just done the exact transformation as the energon toy. No idea why the chose to do what they did
