That's a mainline figure, not the new SS for Prime which will either be a new mold or a hard retool of the SS38 BB Prime

 

I'd wonder how someone could interpret my posts as being agitated, It's a very creative way to see things

Anyways I've tried my best, if you want to continously fume at everything I say then I can't do anything about it

 

I’ll probably just stick with my SS for now. It fits the part well enough. Hopefully they do a SS for this.

I Love it. I cant wait to find him.

 

A solid meh. Like it's not bad but common Hasbro punch it up a little throw on a little more green.

 

Just Like Cheetor, if this guy had a some Dark Green thrown about he would look fantastic (Cheets really need some yellow on him)

It\'s weird that Kingdom Airrazor has colour to her, but the SS figure doesn\'t and is more muted like this.

Hope we see SS Rhinox down the line.

 

It's just a really dull colour scheme. People aren't asking for primary colours, they just want something besides brown and grey.

 

I actually quite like how this Prime looks. Could it use more paint? Sure. But this also looks like a more fun toy than the SS BB Prime, which I don't think is as good as everyone makes it out to be. I also like the proportions on this a lot more than the SS figure.

I might be more into this mainline than I would be for the SS releases at the rate they're going at.

 

Honestly I'm liking what I see here, if I cant get my hands on the exclusive one this will do. It better be a good bit cheaper than standard voyager though.

 

Never got the SS BB Prime, mostly cause I didn't like it all that much so here is hoping the new SS looks a lot more closer to the movie or his control art.

He's... so small compared to Earthrise and BB Optimus. WTF? I mean, I wasn't planning on getting him anyways, but that's an odd choice to make him that much shorter than his previous release when BB and RotB are supposed to be in the same continuity. Weird. Otherwise, I think he looks pretty good in robot mode.

 

Scale with the beasts? Judging by the trailer, Primal in beast mode is as tall as Prime, so Prime should be kinda small.

 

Why does Rhinox have a physique of a cereal box.

 

Is it just me, or does it seem like ROTB Optimus was specifically designed to look more like the SS? The grayer torso, the less saturated red and blue, the skinnier abdomen section, the taillight knees, the flatter feet. Apart from the alt mode, SS38 makes a great ROTB Optimus.

Is there a reason that's in Buzzworthy and not general retail? It would be very disturbing if SS ROTB Optimus was little more than a Target exclusive.

I feel the same way about SS38. I never found it to be that great of an Optimus figure, nor was it very accurate in either mode to his appearance in BBM. It was pretty cool, but it's gotta be one of my least favorite G1-style Optimus figures of the last few years, even though I love how they handled the truck bed and the leg transformation.

I LOVE how straightforward that transformation is. Such a breath of fresh air from the often semi-overcomplicated other G1-style Primes that we see in generations. Not that the others are bad; it's just nice to have something that's a little more fun and simple to fiddle with.

 

I'm guessing not enough slots in the general retail waves, especially if it really is a retool of SS38; it's probably the same reason Hatchet and 86 Hound are going to be Buzzworthy releases too. I get spreading figures across lines to get more on the shelves at the same time, but not at the expense of making something an exclusive (outside of certain types of repaints etc.)

These are more like standalone figure releases as part of the ROTB line; they're smaller and cheaper than Generations figures. The actual Studio Series figures will be in scale.

 

Just when you think they'll finally stop making the figures smaller every year...
