One detail I caught about the Optimus figure compared to his look in the movie is that the figure still has his gun from Bumblebee instead of the Mega Buster he has in RotB. And yes, I know he has the gun in his control art, so maybe the buster will be an accessory for the SS figure

 

Hm, don't really care for that Rhinox but Optimus look pretty cool, gonna get him.

 

They both look really good, however I think rhinox will look completely different in the movie and ss figures like the other maximals have so far.

Probably about the same as the SS/Legacy figures. Rhinox I wanna see more of cause as of now the think holding me back is the face, I just think it’s kinda ugly.

Prime is a might just wanna see the SS one first. But I wouldn’t be surprised 100% if I got bith.

 

Looking at the movie trailer, I don't even see it on his back. It might just vanish like G1 Prime's trailer. Weird.

 

Tbh outside of maybe the face or just colors, he actually looks pretty spot on.

 

That Rhinox figure reminds me of Rock Lords

 

From what we can see it's close, some other details are different, a big one being it seems the front horn splits and forms on his back behind his neck/shoulders.

 

His arms are a bit skiny there, they need to beef them up lol

 

The rhinox design in the movie is RAD

 

Your damn right it is. First time Rhinox is my favorite BW design in something. The Rhino mode is great, and the robot mode is rad and mostly faithful to Rhinox in the show.

So I hope the head looks better in hand cause it looks a little ugly to me.

Hope the SS version looks good (gonna suck to wait for it).

Okay, I have to admit it. Rhinox looks good. In fact they barely changed him aside from giving him the more detailed Bay-style face and chest. I can't decide if that's a good or a bad thing. As I'm not a Bayverse connesseur, it isn't my aesthetic. But I respect that they've been trying to pay more homage to the source material starting with Bumblebee. It still remains its own thing, and that is probably better than trying to force the previous designs on it too hard. I will be curious to see how these designs pan out in animation.

 

They are done wrong on the toy, and there was never a kit to fix it. see pics… new one has the right feet now.

 

The whole figure (SS38) is inaccurate so not hugely suprised.

 

something i will say is this Rhinox's head reminds me of the mcdonalds Rhino, could be a okay repaint

 

Here's to hoping the finalized design does something with it. Every trailer or image we've seen of Prime looks unrefined.

 

I dont really like how both this rhinox and the kingdom rhinox feel the need to have disks on the side's of the head. Makes him look weird. That's just me tho
