Man, I was on the fence with Metalhawk, I thought I’d be fine with the TR Deluxe but this looks like it might be real good. Should’ve sold off the TR version before the market bottomed out

Looking forward to the jet mode. Metalhawk here assuming he has a Cybertronian jet mode looks like he'd be a good addition to my so far really lacking past Autobot leaders collection so long as the yellowing isn't much of an issue. If it's an Earth mode, talk about an unexpected Autobot flyer for the team. I would rather it have been Windblade but I'll take whatever I can get.

 

Yeah his inner bot is a lot more of a defined transformers then say skullgrin is inner bot so this does make sense

That being said he looks very solid. Definitely picking him up. Twincast looks fine, I'll pick him up tho I'm not in any sort of rush to atm.

Twincast: Overall looks fine. Disappointing that he doesn’t have a double tape deck (and that the chest window is seemingly black instead of red) and that Rewind is clear.
Metalhawk: Can’t say I expected a Cyclonus retool, but it seems to look alright and I’m glad they managed to find a mold that keeps the wings on his arms rather than the back. Disappointed that he’s just the inner bot though, as he’ll stick out next to the shell-based Decepticon Pretenders, though at least Metalhawk has one of the better inner bot designs. I wonder if future Bot Pretenders will be the inner robots or a fusion of both. Intrigued to see the alt mode.

 

Ok no suprised they didn't went for the human face after all.

So not a new mold for Metalhawk, didn’t expect Cyclonus retool either. With Bludgeon looking to be a Tarn retool it is interesting how few new molds of the larger size classes there are in Evo. We are getting 3 new voyager molds (assuming the Junkion is a new mold and not a Wreckgar retool) and only 2 new Leader molds. Hopefully Uni/Legacy year 3 does more for those classes.

Glad I preordered these. Metalhawk is going to be the best release for the guy just by using Cyclonus’ mold. Far better then Titans Return and Botcon 2012.

Twincast was to be expected but happy none the less. Just need Sureshot, Raiden, and the Throttlebots(minus Goldbug) to complete the entire 1987 run… wow. Still hate the translucent Rewind/Eject and will keep them in the chest like on Blaster. Sticking with the Collectors Club Scouts till Hasbro pulls a Rumble and release a proper Studio Series Core Class complete with a Ramhorn & Steeljaw finally.

The amount of disrespect Hasbro does to the cassettes is astounding.
