Okay, made a Hawk Saber for him too, in case he doesn't come with one or if it's crap.

    4.7 inches long, 5mm handle.

It makes no sense why they're marketing it as something new. One of siege's gimmicks was combining weapons

I saw someone somewhere had said that the Cyclonus mold would make a good basis for the Seekers. Hmm. Not as accurate, modern Earth jets, but sci-fi "futuristic" jets, of course.

Reminds me that at some point my G1 Starscream lost one of his tailfins. Couldn't display him properly, so I swapped his wings around, and made him a jet based like the F-14 but with forward sweeping wings. Which was a big thing in jet design with computer-aided navigation for a while. Still looked really cool. Just left him that way.

Metalhawk definitely looks like proof that the Cyclonus mold/engineering would work to crank out more characters. With wider wings and new heads, definitely possible to make Seekers, too. (Won't hold my breath.)

I'd go one further. The first two Voyager waves of 2023 are Leo Prime, Tarn, Metalhawk, and Twincast. While Leo sneaks by as "Optimus Lion," the rest are a bunch of literal nobody's in the eyes of the general public. It's definitely a risky assortment of characters to roll out. So it's nice to see HasTak willing to take a bit of a chance and hopefully means they're seeing sales numbers that reflect a broader acceptance of characters outside the usual names/faces.

I guess they will remove or paint differently the old cabin ares and the intakes forward will have to be a bit different.

Metal hawk's jet mode looks kind skinny and peculiar looking.

Yeah I am familiar with the whole "Autobot Pretenders Reveal and roll out" or "Decepticon Pretenders ; Divide and Conquer" thing Comic pretenders seem to be one of the contributing technologies to the Maximal and Predacons too.

Looks like Tarn and Bludgeon share designs of the most part so I'm presuming the Pretender Bludgeon will be a remould of Tarn. so at least Metal Hawk won't be lonely at his size class.

I kinda wish they'd make a Leader Class Beast Wars II Galvatron too.

I’m a huge fan of that TR Rewind and I finally figured out my Head Cannon for keeping both the Titans Return and Legacy versions of the Autobot cassettes around:

The TR versions were Blasters pals/lieutenants and when he had to be rebuilt as Twincast, they donated some of their parts to save his life. It caused them to have their smaller bot modes, but now their alt modes are compatible with Twincast!

Now I just need Hasbro to give me an Eject with that TR mold.

I\'m digging Metalhawk.  Using Cyclonus isn\'t just a smart choice, but it\'s giving me vibes like Galaxy Shuttle did.  Good times.

Twincast will be going with my Heralds of Unicron, character I\'m not really interested in tbh, same as when I get Soundblaster.

MetalHawk while I\'m not familiar is getting ordered regardless he looks class will looks great next to the other Autobots

What I'm most interested in is how they leverage the engineering. There's a lot of potential with that mold due to how the nose completely collapses into the chest.

I always thought the Cyclonus engineering could work pretty well for either a T30/Cyberverse or War Within-inspired Jetfire, with some tweaking of course.

Well shit. They are gonna fuck around and make me buy Metalhawk (who I care NOTHING about) due to him being a Cyclonus retool. Cyclonus is one of the best figure in all of WFC. His transformation scheme is flawless.

This is the one time I've seen people buy a figure because it's a retool. Cyclonus really was that good.
