These are neat and definitely replicate the Masterforce scale with the pretenders being smaller in shells cause mass shifting...
But I also really want to be able to shove the robot into a shell so I still want a big articulated shell

 

Yeah, the Masterforce ones at least should all be the same size. But Metalhawk being bigger than the others at least makes sense when you take into account he's the leader of the Autobot Pretenders. Far more preferable than any of the Pretenders being smaller than Bumblebee. None of these characters should be in the same size class as cassettebots and a human in an exosuit.

 

Failed giving Twin Cast....

A- his two cassette holding ability (yes wasnt perfect on Siege Soundblaster but was done)

B- Flipsides or Stripes( both easily doable)

C- I will buy this 3rd mold because...

What happens to the shells when they Transform anyway do they disappear ?

 

I thought he was saying these two figures were somehow available rn and using power of the primes as both an expression and a nod to the toyline. Silly me.

 

They go to the same place Optimus's trailer, or Megatron's gun accessories, or whatever else you can think of, goes when they transform

off screen and out of mind

 

Metalhawk looks incredible, so excited for the full reveal.

Twincast will be another grateful box-check in my Headmasters group. Can't wait to have Rewind too.

I was trying to figure out who Twincast reminded me of, and I finally figured it out.

They wouldn't be. They'd be the same size as Core Class Megatron and Optimus Prime. And Masterforce Metalhawk was the same size as the rest of the Pretenders, BTW.

 

One unused concept for BotCon 2011 was to remold Deluxe Cyclonus into Metalhawk. In addition they were going to make Shattered Glass Metalhawk by recoloring it in Black Shadow colors.




I already started modeling Metalhawk's Jet Rifle, in case he doesn't have it.

 

Hasbro should just make armor pieces that resemble the human shell of the pretender to add in robot mode instead of whole shells

Re your want on multiple Metalhawks...  

 

I already have a cast of Metalhawks sword I bought for the previous Deluxe, but I think it would look titchy with this fella so I think he'd need rescaled accessories.. heck the original needs a bigger sword too one might argue.

Hopefully he still have plenty of 5mm Hex ports left to stick things onto.

 

Metalhawk makes another Leader added in the last few years......now we need another go at Overlord
