    yeah, Skywarp got shafted

maybe they\'ll do one of those weapon packs with a Generations Select figure again and include those

and how long till we get another recolor like Sunstorm or Acid Storm?  Sort of surprised neither of those have happened yet...

The same people who put out RiD'15 Starscream and Skywarp, but never put out Thundercracker. I really liked that mold, too.

Technically, it’s true. We don’t know how many times the owner of this Thundercracker has looked at him.

These Core Class seekers are also affected by CHPS?

With current cheap hollow plastic syndrome, these are kind of bitter news. Pretty cool to have a Legend scale seeker collection but if the plastic will be yellow in no time, even right out of the box, there is no point at all.

You just can't help yourself, can you?

FYI, every single micro-scale Transformer since the beginning of the brand has suffered from your so-called "CHPS". G1 Micromasters, Targetmasters, Powermasters, and Headmasters all have some degree of hollowed-out limbs, especially empty heads. This is not new. That's what makes them inexpensive in the first place. They're made from as few parts as possible.

Minicons. Basics. Scouts. Legion. It goes on. You want a non-hollow Transformer? Go buy yourself some Action Masters then. You're whipping yourself into a frenzy over this shit, to the point where the "past" you long for is a complete and utter fantasy.

Well this was inevitable. We got Starscream in Kingdom and Skywarp in Legacy, if we DIDN'T get Thundercracker to complete the Seeker Trio it would've been a cosmic injustice.

Yeah, I picked up a damaged box core starscream for $7 or 8 and five mins of painting later Skywarp was good.
They look nice. Price is good outside of shipping, but we really shouldn't have to pay $22 (inc upgrade kits) for a complete core class Skywarp. Don't get me wrong, I like the idea of buy three and get a cool weapon, but not this way. They should've just bumped Skywarp back a wave and done a different figure for the sling shot/tuning fork.

Even if it yellowed, these are designed, first and foremost, for kids. The kids will do way more damage to Starscream trying to bounce him off of the wall than sunlight will ever do. Hasbro is going to budget their figures based on the way kids play with their toys.

You could get back-up copies to be ready to replace one if it yellows. Personally, I am thrilled with the current quality and selection. BUT I'm going to get multiples of this Thundercracker "just in case".

If you are really concerned, get archival lighting and a nitrogen filled airtight case. That's probably the best way to keep your figures as museum-quality artifacts.

It's pretty annoying that these get released so far apart.

    Like combiner pieces.

I sorta get why, but... Im just really underwhelmed here. I literally don't care, at this point, whereas I would've purchased a 3 pack months ago.

    1) I feel like ur giving Hasbro too many outs for making a defective (discoloring?) product. It still costs real money, right? Do u typically pay for things that u know are defective, without asking for a discount?

    2) Buying multiples because of expectations of defect actually REWARDS the defect/problem. Because u express complete ambivalence, and even eagerness to buy more, Hasbro has motivation to make the product worse! If they fix the discoloration issue, u may only buy one! That's no good!!

I don't think there's anything wrong with complaining about cheap plastic or QC. Hasbro occasionally sells poorly designed TFs that break instantly (i.e. Rescue Bots mini red brachiosaur Heatwave). As a parent that bought that toy, I decided not to buy any more RB dinos because of the poor quality and experience

but they released all together, we would have had to pay full price, while now, with each releasing one by one, we the chance to wait until it goes on sale!

But Darkeyes isn’t complaining about cheap plastic. They just walk into threads, scream “CHPS!!!1!!!” and then leave without saying anything else
