I was speaking as if Ratchet does die - he said that if Ratchet dies it's possible that none of the characters care about it. I know Prime's line doesn't specifically refer to Ratchet.

True, but combined with the fact that they're pushing a subplot about Prime entirely losing faith in humans over their murders of his Autobots, I'd be surprised if there wasn't a big reaction to Ratchet's death from Prime.

I wouldn't be surprised if they did say "meet Stinger." He's not really a character anyway, at least not that we know of.

I wanna know WHY the dinobots are on that particular bridge since it is nowhere near Hong Kong Island or Kowloon City (where the REAL action will take place).
The bridge in the trailer connects Lantau Island (that really only has Disneyland, a giant Buddah and the airport) to the Kowloon peninsula ... about as far away from Hong Kong Island as you can get using roads here... and Kowloon city is at least a 20 minute drive (assuming you don't get caught out by the taxi-con drivers or peak hour traffic) away from that!

Did the dinobots have to fly into Hong Kong Airport before being released?

Anyways, I really hope there is more than 15 minutes of dinobot action too since the hype behind them has been huge. I'll be disappointed if they've used most of the footage to entice us in the trailers.

What I don't understand is why would humans who want to eradicate transformers EMPLOY a transformer bounty hunter to do their dirty work for them? It doesn't make any sense... and thus I remain sceptical.

Because I saw the thread title from the index and wanted to read the review. I posted my thoughts and got sucked into the discussion when soundwavedotm tried to "call me out".

No, because we all have seen spots and reveals and other things that totally contradict most of what was said in that so called review. Even if it was a positive review, most would still say it was fake just on the fact that the reviewer said nothing about anything new and only commented on things known or speculated on.

 

Right, with information we clearly know that's false, we'd all downright believe that...

 

Possibly. And if this review were on Rotten Tomatoes, we'd have certain people claiming that film critics serve no purpose because we're supposed to devote our paychecks to watching every movie ever on its opening weekend before we're allowed to decide whether or not we should buy a ticket to said movie that we just watched and oh dear I've gone crosseyed.

I think this review is prolly legit.

They most likely only saw this once, and remember these movies are edited very fast. There's a lot going on, and a lot of "blink and you'll miss it" going on. I remember after viewing ROTF and DOTM the first time, I barely caught the names of any of the new Transformers. So the fact that it's not detailed has me leaning to it being real.

Very disappointing, to say the least, because the one thing I wanted was a real mysterious and complex plot, but we won't be getting it.

The guy barely talks about anything new.
Lockdown working with Attinger to eliminate all Transformers doesn't really fit at all with what we've heard so far. "Lockdown's just a bounty hunter, he's here for one person, one alien and then he's out of here".
Dinobots only in the last 15-20 mins of the movie? That sounds like an extremely short final battle.
No mention of who Lockdown is working for or the whole "You were built, they want you back" thing?
I'd be shocked if this was legit.

 

The way it sounds, it seems like this tool wasnt paying much attention to the movie except for maybe a few scenes which seem like he was watching a 3min trailer. Dinobots may only be in it for a short period as the movie may be developing to the dinobots. Cade finds prime, prime captured, autobots go to rescue, lockdown returns to capture again, autobots find dinobots and all hell breaks loose for the last hour...remember this movie has been confirmed to run 2 hrs and 30mins so this guys review is a joke imho but thats just my review
