Kind of sketchy, but this was posted over at the Blu-Ray.com Forums by a Circuit City Employee. http://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?p=615161#post615161 Further brought up with Engadgenet rundown of it as well. http://www.engadgethd.com/2008/02/16/paramounts-transformers-showing-up-in-blu-ray-attire/ Again, let's not get our hopes up, it's a possible fake. I hate to bring this up, but a fellow ex-staffer said I should just in case.
I have no doubt TF is going to be re-released in the future, and def on Bluray if the "war" keeps going this way. Its almost impossible that they won't.
I saw this, could be great news. Could be. Some one pieced together a few more pics in this post. http://forum.blu-ray.com/showpost.php?p=615789&postcount=125
Very nice. This blends really well with the word that Toshiba is stopping HDDVD production. Anyway, Ive been checking some things (rumors) out and apparently this could come out soon and Transformers should include a PCM audio track for those who enjoy the lossless audio.
It will happen sooner then you think. Toshiba, the owner of HD-DVD, has officially abandoned the format so the winner is Blu-Ray. All thats left is clearing out the product already in stores.
