The way the legs are designed (some of the movie toys) reminds me of an animal so I played around with different ways to transform him. This only need the legs swung down and the cab top opened, to complete his normal transformation. Now all it needs is an animal head and neck to swing up from the bed.



It also needs the arm guns switched to claws. I might make it into Ravage or Steeljaw. I also don't use the bed cover. I think it was a stupid gimmick.

Anyone else have this feeling from the toy?

 

I would probably get that feeling, but I can't say for sure until I can find the damn thing.

It looks like it has potential... I'm feeling Steeljaw coming from that more than the others.

Triple changer FTW! figure out 3 more modes and you could have a sixshot.

 

I don't know about the Ramhorn mod. The front legs could easily be made into ram legs but the back legs are more lion/puma. The doors give a steeljaw feel but a ravage neck and head would fit in the bed the easiest. I don't know when I might start fiddling with this. I have a bunch of unfinished mods to complete.

The truck mode is awesome too, I just wish the scale was a hair smaller and I would have made this into one of the Minibot trucks.

 

hmmmm, cassette bots get too much love. Go teal white and red and make a quick switch homage. his panther mode was my favorite

and the doors are in the same place as the wings on the original

Paint him yellow, make him Steeljaw. The legs look like they'd do, plus with all of the bulk up around the front where his head would be, gives it more of a lion feel than a rhino.

You could mod his robot head to work with it, perhaps put an animal face on the back of his head?

Those little antenna on each side of his head could be modded into a fold-out mane or something.

 

i know this was your idea but you could actually make it a 3x changer i mean the regular head has got a bear like quality to it at least to me it does. so it would be kinda cool as a bear andi think i might try that with my extra dropkick. but ya with trying to make a cassette bot go with the lion one the tires and stuff give a good mane look just my 2 cents.
